South Carolina Role Call!!!
many of them are the type that bought the car because it looked cool, they will end up ditching at the first sign of trouble. quitters....
but also, isn't it fellow rotar heads' job to spread the word? help them appreciate what they have under the hood, if they even know that.....
I could have used those little calling cards today as i say a nice white rx-8 with virginia tags parked beside the Stadium (Clemson) to get them to drop in for a visit to the club. oh well.

Story time...
Not long after I bought the car, we came out of Ryans after pigging-out, and found a note on the car. It was a torn piece of that thin, white kind of cardboard, with the words "NICE CAR"written on it. You stop to think about it; somebody stopped and admired the car for some amount of time and finally decided that he liked it so much, that he would actually find something to write on and write a note to the owner about how much he likes the car, out in the middle of a parking lot at night. That's a keeper. I still have it.

I'm sure I've told this one but I parked next to a red 8 one day and came back to find a note written on a napkin saying "I like your color! Yellow is very (underlined) sexy. (heart) red." gave me a woody

I'm strongly suggesting we try and get a meet together since there seems to be a good number of RX-8 owners in the state of SC. Not a big meet to start off...just something to put faces with names, hang out, and get to know one another.
The big question is.....is there interest in a having a meet? (sounds like there wasn't much attempt/success in the past)

I had a '93 MX-6 LS for about 10 years and put about 200,000 miles on it. I'm actually a member in the MX6.com forum. http://www.mx6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=151972
hehe I loved that car, how I could throw it into a curve - such neutral handling. but anyway...
