BTW, I will be running SD this weekend. Fortunately it sounds like FJ (Fast Jason) will run CalClub and not let you guys get an easy 100.

found all time slips except my 2nd group. (no biggy)
Keith your BEST RT was a .512 . you didnt hit the 5s very often. you were in the 7s mostly.
Your BEST 60' was a 2.321
My BEST RT was a .567 (I cant see 1/3 of my runs though) I was hitting 6s most of the time (I was being a little bit of a puss since I was having so many cones and spins I wanted a time that would count and didnt want to mess it up with a red light like I did once in the morning)
My BEST 60' was a 2.481 (again, I cant see 1/3 of my runs)

my street tires were going bald, actually starting to show some cord on the rear.....so bought some new ones yesterday. I am going down today to get all of them mounted, as well as finally getting my alignment done.
I am thinking of just leveling things out...if settings are off.
what were those alignment recommendations again....or should I just stick with making sure things are equal.

well I know the price of your tires are not nearly as cheap. (although I hope you went with something cheaper then those direzzas. like the SPT's)
anways, its all up to how much you want to save tires on the street. I think Jason would recomend 0 tow in the rear, 1/8 out in the front.
and something like 1 degree maybe 1 and a half degree negative caber all the way around? sound about right Jason? decent auto x setup, still save the tires a little.

went with the same tires...I like the Direzza's. They also have a shorter sidewall (do to the shape, and also have a protective portion that sticks out beyond the rim, so in case of curbage I would have a cushion) than the equivalent Kuhmos...and I am already close to rubbing...didn't want to add more sidewall.
They came with free Angel Tickets and a 50 dollar rebate
On the alignment settings:
I am thinking of asking for before and afters. I'm curious to see where I'm at, and what it is compared to stock settings.
What are stock/factory settings?
Recommendations are: 0 tow (rear), 1/8th out (front); -1 camber to -1.5 camber front/rear.....(depending on how much I want to wear my street rubber).
I got over 20,000 miles on the current Direzzas...so my decision on camber may be based on what I am at right now. If it isn't too far from where I am at right now, I may go with the recommended -1.5 camber.

Toe sounds ok, zero rear and 1/16 to 1/8 out front.

Toe: 1/8" out front, 0 rear
Camber: -1.5 front, -2.0 rear
Pretty typical BS setup. ULLLOSE is pretty close, but I think has a little less camber since he could only get around 1.3 in front.
You guys can get more camber out of your cars since you have shorter springs and are lowered. The more, the better for racing... you can always flip your street tires to get more life out of them.
The stock specs aren't useful since they just specify a big range of "acceptable" settings.

I was actually thinking about getting my alignment done as well since I am getting close to a new set of tires. Thanks for the info.
Unfortunately I will be out of town for this event. I don't think it really matters as I am no contest for our front runners..

he he he..... I was rollin when I read the swift kick in the nuts!
I was just trying to recomend somehting that would let his street tires live a little still. I seem to be tearing up the race tires and the street tires inside edge more then I expected. (already talked to Jason about the race tires since I did not expect that.)
