oh, I hate this forum now...I had a long post which tried to explain what happened on my four runs...and then, when I went to post it...it dissapears. Not interested in typing it again....the short of it.

I didn't get into the rev limiter on that back section, not until my fourthe run. My exit speed was too slow going into that section....so I knew I wasn't going fast enough.

Shifts, I didn't hit the right spot for my downshift on any of my runs. The car was violently shifting from side to side on several sections of the course....we found out after getting back to the house, that there was some severe shifting that occured on the rear suspension.

On my fourth run...I went in too hot and took a bad line on the first left hander....and pushed way outside of the turn in point...downshifted back into first as I was aboutt o take out the back wall...ended up coming almost to a complete stop. Was faster on the rest of the course, but the time was already lost. After running the 65.xxx on my third run...I definately thought I could get into the 64's.

Never mind. Looking at the results, it appears they were just there to school the locals

B-stock wheels OE dimension with .25 allowance.

Stock wheels at 18x8 (50 offset).....so how far can we go with offset and still be considered a B-stock wheel?

Was this the OZ wheel that you were referring to yesterday Jason?

So you work at a school and shape young minds, yet you can not figure out how to convert the 1/4" allowance in to mm? Look for some within 6.3mm of 50mm.

Yes, those are the OZs for a pimp like you. btw they are $325 ea at the Tire Rack.

found them at Tire Rack, thank you. They come in Black, silver and Gold...all the same pricing and all are available in 18x8 +48.

Do you know anyone that currently has these that is considering changing cars?

oh, and as a school psych, I don't shape minds...I try to put broken minds back together....and at that point, they could care less about math

Well clearly your Xbox skills are not translating to the track, maybe lass games and more real driving would do you some good.

Hey man, I tried to get you a good deal here. I voted against the 1 week and offered 1 day.

see you have to start out low and work your way up. I figured 3-4 days is the right punishment. I am sure Jason figured the same thing. He said a week, I said a day, I am expecting him to counter my counter offer with 6 days, I will then counter his counter of my counter with 2 days. he will then counter my counter of his counter, countering my counter offering 5 days. next thing you know we are at 4 days probation...... 1 day with good behavior. :D

1/2 day tops if you throw in some good lovin and a bribe to warden Erica. :D she might make you sign an afidavid showing your good intenssions, but its not that bad. only a minor blip on the ol record.

Everyone wins.

.............. That'll we $17,999 for my services. due at the end of the week. Cash only. No refunds.

Just got your XBOX back? back from what? I don't understand.

I can do four days - one with good behavior! How about one day just for me? I don't have to cook - answer questions - talk about finances - and we watch girly movies all night? That can be your one day suspension - call it even.

....I think $17,999 is a pretty good deal right there. Hmmmmm.....I wonder where you got that number.....?

MP5 - my car since it is BONE stock. Weight. Oh! and i still have my stock bumper in the garage so it will be easier to make it B-Stock friendly

I think those "out of towners" did ok for being in borrowed cars. Didn't that Dietz character go out in the first group?
Not too bad of a performance.
When is the last time a BoxsterS won Pax?
Heck! He almost beat that 4th place guy that might have been on his Nat tires?
Those CSP guys sure must be WAY better than EVERYONE else down there.
LOL!

Was Kevin down there for more "Set Up" stuff? I think he's doing it again this year, but driving instead of "crewing", right?

I don't know what Junior was doing in SoCal, though...

edited to delete smack talk...I still can't do it...

Fast course, 3rd gear for me, plus on the limiter in 2nd for a good bit in another spot. Hell I put the CS champ in his 99' down, he was on his good tires also, so I think I did ok.
I would guess with the speed the BoxsterS had no problem getting into the power band.

Also keep in mind they ran a Sat practice, other direction, so not like the first run group is dirty. I think the last time I set top pax I ran 1st heat, this was before the CSP cars got big tires and Berry got a rally car.

Good to see the Mid-pack Mikes are over their natls beat downs and back to bench racing.

No more events up here this year so maybe Kevin is just trolling around looking for autox's?
LOL!
He is Mr. Supersecret about any TV stuff so I guess we'll have to wait and see!

We were playing with the idea of running the white one.

My black one is up for sale, but the RX8 market is really weak right now. I need to walk away from the car with nothing out of my pocket...and then we can readdress the issue over whether the white car will be around, or traded in for another vehicle. I may be in B-Stock next year, or not in anything at this point. Casey has previously made an offer to codrive with him in his Miata....of course, he is trying to sell his 8 as well and there are not that many buyers out right now.

Casey took his 8 down to Carmax and they offered him 11 grand for the car...yeah, I laughed too (but cried inside to think that I overpaid for my car when it first came out....and now what am I left with...?)
