Tokicos for the Miata go for about $130 each.
I remembered that a friend of mine sells tokicos. He sold it to me for $85. (I am talking about the 1 rear)
Jason you might know him, his name is Jack, he drives the Tokico RX-7 race car

....you were gone by the time the escort was running on course....he broke hard after that same section, came to a halt....and then had to be pushed off the course. He had his car up on jacks during our 3rd run group....I wonder what happened/what broke.

Haven't been here in a while but started searching for an answer to my question and found this thread. Can someone suggest a shop (or person) to help install some Koni Sports that I just bought? I got widely varying estimates for the install and am whacking my head for not having consulted you all first.

yeah, I've never seen that before...but then again, I'm knew to the scene. I would assume that they made this allowance because it was the last event before Nationals. I doubt his times will count officially?
Jason, your lines were incredible as normal. It is great to have the opportunity to see you run when we are working. Good luck in Nationals.

Yeah when I put on new tires, rather than the rags I run at most local events, I can beat Ryan. You will also notice the gap I put on the rest of the RX8s was about double the usual , ummmm fresh rubber is goooooood.

Nice job Jason. Hopefully the CSP/DSP index will be "fixed" next year and some other guys can have a chance at top pax.
We actually had quite a nice course for the SE lot down here. We even had a 3rd gear section in the Elise and it was still a ~60sec course. There were turnarounds, but they were open enough to keep it flowing.
Got to drive 4 different cars over the weekend. Ran my car on Sat with another set of used Kumhos, but the rear end was still too nervous. I'll probably need to get the alignment/shocks checked out.

Also, I wanted to thank Keith and Denward for the last autocross.
Keith let me run on his tires, and Denward let me drive his car...
Thanks guys!!! I had a blast, and it was nice to continue the points another month!

I'm pretty sure I meant this one.

If you click on the engine shot, you can see the damper adjusters look just like Konis. Certainly not like Illuminas or D-Spec. And the damper you can see appears to be the same yellow body that was on the car when I saw it at a shop here locally. The color is debatable in this photo because of the darkness.
Konis are rebuildable, so maybe he's working with Tokico and/or Vogtland on custom valving that they'll duplicate in their own parts, or something. But those aren't Tokico parts I know how to buy.
