Also the cel was cleared by the girlfriends father and idk what they were. I tried to restart it tonight cold and it has a weak turn over. It sounds flooded and the battery also sounds weak.
I'm going to remove the spark plugs tomorrow and see if they're wet. If so I'm going todry them lit and charge the battery. I will then put the aaccelerator to the floor and push all the fuel out. Reinstall the plugs 20 brake stomp it, and try and start it. If no dice i'm at a loss and will be close to giving up
It ran and started 2 times. First time was a high idle of 2-3k rpm. Second time it idled normally and sounded awesome. I wanna cry

Hmm, I have no idea how it would run without the relay installed. That should prevent the fuel pump from working at all. Is there a wiring issue somewhere that bypassed the relay?
Also, make sure you have the fuel injectors wired correctly, a common problem on DIY engine replacement.

Anyone know how long the computer will take to relarn fuel trims enough so I can drive the car? It ran for 15 minutes last time and flooded I dont want to do that again if I can help it

I'm going to have to get it towed to maztech of tampa for a diagnosis unless anyone of you think its a good idea to reach out to Central Fla members to see if they want to come look at it and make a few hundred.

Serious Dumb Question: Is there a difference in the 2009 R3 & 2009 GT in any way regarding brakes. The rim size went up an inch I know, but every time I tell a site I have an R3 it says no matches. (Specifically the HAWK Site).

What effect does regular engine braking — I usually do it every time I slow down when I drive a standard cylinder engine — have on a rotary? Any studies or test cases to support the answer? Will it continue to inject oil without the throttle?

OMP injection is load based, there is almost no oil injected during in-gear deceleration. This isn't really a problem however, since there is also no combustion, so what oil IS being injected, isn't getting burned off.
Just make sure you rev match to save wear on the clutch and transmission, but it's no different than any other manual transmission car in that regard.

No, not a problem, because the oil that is there isn't getting burned because there is no spark, no fuel. So the oil actually spends more time getting a chance to coat everything.
The primary purpose of the oil injection is cooling however, not lubrication. The cooling is needed under load, and not needed during deceleration.
So low injection during decel isn't a problem, don't worry about it.

Is there ever too much oil to the point of it lowing the octane of the gas in the chamber?
Nope, not something to worry about. Plug fouling would be a problem more easily reached, but even that isn't really a huge concern. Even under combustion our engines eat plugs anyway.
