If I understand the mechanics of the vent properly, it should get rid of that rattle sound you get when coming down off load/boost and make for the smoother feel you are experiencing.

Are you making the trip out west for SSX?

Yes please.lol

I know the clear corners will make the car look better. Unfortunately when I have been able to save a little extra money they are not at the top of the priorty list just yet.

Yeah thats exactly it. The car is even more of a sleeper now.

No SSX for me I just got a new position at work I can't really take anytime off right now. I can't even do the Dragon run.

Each or as a pair?

This may bump their priority status.

I called Cam at Pettit he told me to hold off on the clear corners for now. He is developing some that will be powered by mini flux capacitors and they will be LED. The estimated hp increase will 20 whp per side plus 30lb of torque total.

I've always wanted a younger woman, maybe I should apply.

Cam's sending me a new toy for the s/c (compressor vent). Do you have it yet? It's supposed to help under heavy load conditions
Will the compressor vent be shipping with all subsequent kits??

Dyno Tune

Folks,

It is late and will post more details tomorrow. But for now see attached Dyno Sheet with before and after tuning by Scott from Mazsport. Temperature in dyno shop was 98-101 degrees.

I believe that it is already factored in but I could be wrong.

See temp and torque graphs.

my original dyno (with original tune)

i was able to get my scanner working...finally scanned my original dyno from cam..
this is the first tune...the original tune and the one i am still running today....

every time i got to put a new tune on the car, someone comes up with a better tune...the car is running fine at this point so im gonna wait till all the tunes are done then transfer the best....

that one will prolly be yours juan

please excuse the clarity!!

I believe we were only able to get 6 psi on the dyno. On my way home we video recorded 8 psi. Also, two more things to take under consideration. There was no ram air while on the dyno and no air cooling effect to intercooler radiators. I do not know (sorry I forgot to ask Scott) the intake temperatures but I'm sure they weren't the best.

Sounds like you're in the same boat as me. I am set for around 8-9 psi, sometimes it gets to 12. So it's hard to say which is which. Would be nice if the dyno also stored PSI so we'd know for sure.

Though since your boost is linked to rpm, wouldn't it mean you'd always hit 8 psi at 9k rpm? Or does the SC have a wastegate type setup?

My dyno was almost identical, and peak hp was 260.5, except the temps were in the high 80's that day (not close to 100).

Isn't boost pretty dependent on air temps? This would explain why he's able to consistently hit 8 psi on the highway with cold outside air slamming into his ram air duct and his intercooler heat exchangers. When I first drove the car with this setup (and Cam in the passenger seat) we hit 8 psi pretty consistently, but on the dyno we only saw 6 psi.

Is this the final pulley that you guys have for StageII? I recall reading a while back that Pettit would be releasing a pulley for more boost with StageII.
