Ha ha.............sure, but little way to verify and some have an inside track on the numbers. I'll keep mine to myself for now as well.

How, exactly, are you setting the "gap" on a center-electrode plug?

And, to repeat again (because I see the same mistake happening again) DO NOT put REW trailing plugs in the trailing plug position of the Renesis.
The plug thread is only 19mm deep and the REW plugs are 21mm. The business end of the plug bottoms out and will distort the face of the housing under load.
Please don't make me have to go out in the garage and make another video...

I think Scott at Mazsport knows what he's suggesting; I wouldn't pretend to know more than him, considering the amount of work he's done on RX-8s and RX-7s. I'm sure Scott knew about the extra 2 mm before you did, and has provided a way to resolve the issue. But I guess we'll see.

Jeff is right on the money. DO NOT put REW trailing plugs in the trailing plug position with out placing the two 1mm shims required to keep the plugs from damaging the rotor housing. Shims are sold by Mazsport, check their website and place an order of four.

Not sure what are you asking. I change the RX8 OEM plug gap by changing the gap between the ground and center electrode???

I got 7 and 8 psi while street tuning the car with Scott on Thursday and driving in heavy traffic. He attributed it to the ram/fresh air intake. However during the upcoming dyno test I will not be able to benefit from this.

Did you save the s/c? How about the little man? Speeks well for the driver safety in this car that you were not hurt.

My little man was safly in the trunk. Im pretty sure that the S/C is ok, dont want to open the hood yet, I dont want people at the lot seeing whats under it. I think if it was any other car im sure things wouldnt have gone the same way.

It was missing clear corners. Clearly the cause of the accident.

Glad you're okay, and the wreck is a damn shame.
