Pettit Racing’s Forced Induction System
I got it back in the beginning of May. I know I have put a large amount of miles quick. I just love driving the damn thing. lol
Yeah you disconnect the battery. Then you put the black wire to one side and the red to the other. The bigger the spark the faster the dongle will make the car.

i just love it when you get technical like that....

whew!! i need a shower....

PS..did you really want a t shirt!!!
PM me your addy, if so!!....
Of course I would like a shirt, Silly Girl! I figure at SSX I can be like Cosby was on his show with the college sweatshirts. If I get enough shirts from around the country I'll change them every hour or two while I am at SSX and promote all the groups.
.....and I wasn't technical at all with that statement. That was simple bench-racer babble. I can get much more romantic than that if you get me in the mood.

Not PPFFSsssssing around LMFAO!!!
Turbos make no noise at all until you want them to.
Superchargers always make their own noise, no matter how "lightly" you drive them.
Even at idle, the Pettit SC is pretty obvious, even to the uninitiated.
Anything off-idle sounds like an angry pressure washer.

If you recirculate the BOV, there isn't much noise. Most of us also have internal wastegates, so not much sound there either. I can literally make my car sound exactly like a stock car (catless midpipe and hks exhaust not withstanding)
I'm going to have to put in stiffer springs, though. I need to pick out some wheels, too.
The Utah trip was relatively uneventful, even at 120 MPH.
When I got across the climb over the Kaibab Forest, I had a chance to demonstrate what I have been saying about the relative "noise" levels of TC vs. SC for a trucker.
At 7500 feet elevation, 9 PSI of boost is actually something closer to 13 PSI!

You should have seen his head swivel around when I stomped on it at 75 MPH on a 6% grade going up in 4th. I was well over 100 MPH before I had decided to let up. The turbo was absolutely shrieking to make that kind of boost out of no air at all.
You haven't lived until you have gone up a hill like that accelerating like you are going down a hill like that.

If I buy a used interceptor X, how hard would it be to get maps from Pettit? Could they send them to me through the internet, or would I have to mail the thing to them? Are there any parts that I would need to purchase since its used?
i know that maps can be loaded on the dongle...so thats an option...
give him a call!!
Use the original 91 octane map that Scott provides with the unit.
There isn't much that comes with the Int-X. Just make sure you get all of the stuff that is listed on the Mazsport WEB site.
Even if the map is FUBAR, you can copy the screens from one of the abundant threads on the subject available here on the forum.
