Maryland People!
A big thank you to Nate for taking pictures and reminding how much I need to get a DSLR camera again...
I haven't had a chance to look through all of the pics Jessica took yet but I was bored at work so I did some HDR tuning on some of Nate's shots:

So these are awesome and you should totally do more.
Does anyone have a set of lightly used OEM brake pads they want to part with? let me know.
And Chris' showing on his coil overs has me salivating over a set of Bilstein PSS9's and RB sways, ugh time to burn some money.

Wasn't there a collective poo poo on upgrading the sway bars for AX?
I'd say there was for Alex doing his. Reason for this is that the FR-S already has a lot of roll resistance from the factory so it's already pretty stable as long as you don't overdrive the car, which he perpetually does.
I've ben looking into it and it seems that most of the people who are successful in STX with RX8's are using quality dampers, shorter stiffer springs and stiffer sways.
Basically though, i feel like if no more performance can be extracted from the car by the driver, that's when its time to upgrade, and I think I'm just about there. Mike had several runs in my car and was faster than me sure, but with the different passenger loads it wasn't by much.
I feel like if I had a more competitive suspension setup Id be able to square off against the twins on course and still keep my spacious backseat, exciting engine, and halo car presence that the twins lack. And the testimonials of people with coilovers that Ive read basically said that it was the most fun upgrade that they've done.
I think Id start with the PSS9 set and get sways if needed.

Nate, I meant to let you take a spin in mine, but every time i went to offer it, you were in another car. :P The coilovers do make a crazy difference.. if you watch my video, you see a majorrr difference in body roll.
I can only do Sundays, which is actually ok with me as you get so many more runs at the tnt than regular days... so if anyone is interested I'm happy to keep cooking up some food after the events if people are interested in hanging around after.
Next one I will be at is Oct 20th. If you guys are interested in getting to more sooner check out the Washington SCCA site for more events.

I know what you mean. I am holding off on any more suspension tweaks until after suitable rubber is on the car that I can push harder without the rear end fighting me so much.Maybe once I reach the upper threshold of the springs and shocks, I will consider laying out the cash for coil-overs. The challenge is to increase street limits and track limits, without going too far in either direction.

Aaron what's your spring shock combo that you have now? And you have 1" spacers too right? Cris I'm doing a regular points event morning only in Bowie on the 28th(Alex's wedding in the afternoon #gearheadscheduling) if you're interested, I think it's more "local" to you them Frederick

Shocks are Tokico Spec-D's that are in my office at home.

GarageLine Spacers, yes. With stock width wheels, they made a difference in stability, if I grab 9" wheels for autocross needs, I will have to find an interesting offset or pull the spacers.

And Aaron, Im so glad they caught that on video.. Made my day!
also, I'm rockin' the same 25mil spacers that Aaron has.. hence the reason I had to pull them off the rear. At stock height they give you a flush look, but with my camber, it just sets the bottom of the tire out a little more.
TNT runs are posted under the sept 14 results forum topic, I just edged out Josh in his frs while lugging Chris' slimming but not inconsiderable mass around which was a small victory unto itself!
