Me too. Was totally unplanned as my morning session times were getting a pinch faster, I guess I felt I had more grip left then I did. Was great fun either way and the CDC people didn't kick me out.

Yeah my OC's are really coming along nicely lol. I got excited when I saw the 50-51 sec... but then realized it was just Nate schooling me even without power steering...

Also I'm really impressed you were able to get down to 50 without power steering... bravo.

Also noteworthy, Nate's first run of 52 with over 800lbs of man in the car...

 

I should've done an 800lbs of man and no power steering run

 

That is complete madness...

Sweet dude i can usually be seen in a cloud of steam/smoke on the side of the road, or in a cloud of steam/smoke at a local autocross. When the haze clears enough you can see that my car is red. I live in harford county but commute to the south side of Baltimore. I've seen a black series 2 at umbc lately, is that you?

Loving the commentary on that video. I think the 800# of man run should be a requirement for every event. You must do at least one run with 800+#s of man in the car, and we compare the results.

Also, I (well, technically Nate using my Youtube account) uploaded the GoPro videos of me running on the 15th. I spliced them together for one big video which is below:

 

Good stuff guys. All these videos and talk about AutoX just make me want to try it even more.

Unfortunately... I got my first-ever power loss/flashing CEL combo this morning on the way to work. I've had a misfire CEL recently and a rough idle, so this past weekend I changed the plugs (which were only 10K miles old, along with the BHR coils and wires). The idle really smoothed out a lot and the CEL cleared, but then this happened.

So, I won't be doing anything AutoX-related until I figure out what's going on. I only lost power for a few seconds, but not going to tempt fate and keep driving around like nothing happened.

Hey Jon, I meant to ask you - do you get O2 sensor and fuel pressure readings from DashCommand? Mine constantly says NA for those. Everything else comes in fine.

 

Best part is Nate not doing any video trimming.

 

The story behind that is that when i trimmed the videos with GoPro Cineform and then uploaded them it wasnt recognized by youtube. I had to upload them raw and uncut o_O I was just too lazy to trim it from within youtube.
