Hey everyone.. i've been in and out of this forum and notice everyone scaters to other threads.. and figured why not just start a thread just for maryland rotary heads..
Here we talk about anything and everythin of ya choosing.. This thread will be the start of the events in maryland that people my want to go to.. or even if you need simple help with putting in a tranny or something...

Hey everyone.

Checkin' in from Gaithersburg. Just got mine this past weekend. Look for a Lightning Yellow in Gaithersburg/Rockville. :D

You should be easy to spot. Most of the '8s around Gaithersburg are silver.

Look for me around Rockville or Gaithersburg by Kentlands.. I go to UMCP so I'm down in College Park a lot as well

going to get my 8 either this weekend or next. the fun part will be that ive never driven a stick before

You'll do fine.

I learned stick when I bought my first car 8 years ago. I went to Congressional Mazda to get a Miata. Didn't know how to drive a stick. The sales person taught me on the spot. Been driving manuals ever since!

I was too chicken to get a stick. I didnt want to mess up my 8 a honda I can but not my 8. I'm in Bethesda but normally I be cruising in rockville, germantown and gaithersburg. Silver 8 here with FL plates. Honk when you see me.

damn...no one in the northern part of maryland? or atleast central part? i'm in severn (near arundel mills mall). winning blue. i think i saw your blue 8 VmanX down in college park. cokerx7, i missed ya at the fuddrucker's meet. i came really late. i think i saw slllygrl10 last week coming up from tyson's corner...

I live in Columbia and work near BWI. In my company's lots I have seen a Winning Blue - with an aftermarket spoiler, 1 black, 2 silver, 1 Velocity Red (Automatic) and then there is mine.

I joined the MSCW to hopefully join in on some of their road trips - meetings seem to be VA based though. www.mscw.com

Glad the weather is cooperating and I can get out and DRIVE.

Did spot a silver 8 on 198 in Columbia on Wed, but he did not even acknowledge me and the car.

BWI isn't far from me at all. i'm always cruising around glen burnie, severna park, annapolis, ellicott city, columbia. i have clear corners, factory appearance kit, and mazdaspeed tag frame. see you guys around

i couldnt make it to the Fudds meeting cuz my girl friend was moving that day.. even though when the day was done... i realized i could have went and came back intime for it to start snowing.. but i will 90% surely be at the next meeting.. um.. a few of us 7's meet up in Rockville at ihop on weds now... every wed.. Right now we working on getting a group of people to drive around 695 sometime this year.. like a bunch of 7's and 8's coasting the beltway... and yess you know the cops will be out to get us.. :-P

naw.. thinking of running around 65-70.. that's what i do on a regular.. but sometimes i get a lil heavy and go 110.. :-D

but it seems no one on the 7 forum is talkin to much about it.. so i guess the 8's can run it.. like a date/time and route to take..

well picked up my black 2004 rx-8 last night, so if you see one in baltimore or coming too and from work on 97 or 32, thatd be me

where do you work skerrane?? i'm always on 97 and 32. cokerx7, shinka is this limited edition rx8. it's purple and has white leather.

Oh ok.. I'll have to see it up close in person.. i didnt know they made a limited edition.. I can only imagin what they are goin to do with the AE version... im more near white marsh area.. and i see like 2-3 8's roaming the streets..

I think I've seen a couple of you... I'm near the college park area too. I'm in a Sunlight Silver RX8 with Apperance Package, Spoiler and Rotary Accents.
