You mean the vacuum lines? or the piping? I would suggest not running it with diconnected vaccum lines... I dont think thats what you meant....
Yeah the problem with the oily build up wasnt immediate, it was gradual over time...

Hah, not running it that way, but popping the hood when it's off and opening it up to see if there is a buildup there or any other immediately visible issue. I'm going to get an oil catch can as well as per some recommendations.
wankel? what's that?

Yeah Jamie, you should definately come out...
Greg, did you go completely insane waiting for your car to be boosted? I just pulled the trigger today on the MM upgrade with the 3071R and I'm planning to have some BHR folks in town for the install. It will be a couple of months though before I am officially a member of the FI club and I'm going nuts waiting.

Is Jeff coming back to town? I wouldn't mind meeting the BHR folks as well, especially since I'll get getting their ignition system soon (I hope). Just waiting for the PM from Charles now. If there is going to be a meet, could someone hook me up with the date and time?
Thanks.
Thanks.
Well, its not all up to me... I am going to try and make it happen, but they have to decide for sure if they are going to come out. I'm invited Ray and Jeff to come out, which would make for a fun install day(s) but it depends on their schedules etc. Timetable would probably be around March or so, whenever the weather starts to get nicer and Jeff finishes up my Satan's Hairdryer.

you could probably make it more worth thier while if you had more people installing/purchasing a BHR product... By then I'll probably be ready for my coils, who knows?

I'm trying to get an rx7/rx8 Fudds Columbia meet together over on rx7club for this month. I'll probably take my rx7 this time, but usually there's a decent turnout (December's was crappy, but Nov was alright).

hey rotr8. you said you had the K+N intake on your car before. did you ever have problems with it leaning out and misfireing. just talked to the dealer after sending the car back to them again. they said that the car leaned out because of the intake, that it was getting too much air. let me know, and is there anything i can do to keep the intake on and have it not do this???
