Uh, galvanized steel? Everything I've read over the years says there shouldn't be any long-term consequences, but ventilate next time. I've also read that because of the way it works, it gets worse every time you are exposed. Hope you feel better soon.

huh, thats wierd mine hasnt at all,,, and it is an Ebay bung spacer,,
Well, you could be lucky, or maybe Cam already "fixed" that for ya.

Greg just get a lot of potassium in you. Like eat an banana every hour and drink a glass of milk. My dad's a master welder and he gets it time to time. Whenever that happens he just stuffs him self with banana's and other high in potassium foods along with milk.

Speaking of alignments I still don't know of any good places to get it done other than the stupid dealership.

I saw a grey rx8 with tinted tails, tinted windows, black hood and some black with chrome wheels on University BLVD and Colesville RD. Any idea of who this was. I was in a nordic green with bronze P45R's and a HKS HI power exhaust lowered on coilovers turning on to unversity BLVD
The grey rx8 had really dark windows.

Just felt like saying that for some reason, lol

Do I remember right that a yellow RX-8 showed briefly to watch the MSCW auto-x in Bowie back in October? Same person maybe?
This was back in March... I haven't posted in years, but that was me! I remember seeing you behind me after passing in the opposite direction on Gov. Bridge Rd. Then you followed me to my favorite local road, Chesterfield.

I wasn't at the MSCW auto-x, but you can find me at the SCCA and AI events, trying to keep up with the leaders in BS.

Oh well, that was like the second time I have seen it and was wondering if he/she was on the forums but I guess not as far as we know. I use to see a red rx8 coming down 29 from columbia direction a couple times but I don't know who was driving then also.

Just in case, this is me:

The October MSCW visitor was me. I didn't have the guts to throw my puny skills out there, so I volunteered as track worker for the afternoon.

Heh. Never ran on a road course either at that point, now I've seen four different tracks from inside the guard rails. I love this car!

I'm not gona lie, it was def a woman driving it, I could see from the other side of the road going opossite direction and it looks completely stock from a distance, but could not tell. Just mentioned it because I'm just trying to figure out who is who when I see a rx8 on the road because now when I see one I always assume this person is on the Rx8 club lol

I forgot to mention to everyone on the forum that I sometimes see a Red rx8 turbo(I think) with a MS front bumper going north on 270 towards fredrick or Quince Orchard on the beltway(495). Does anyone know who this might be because it is really loud but the noise does not bother me, it actually sounds so natural/ race like/ just loud, lol. He runs with no exhaust so how can it be this loud. Is it just a midpipe with no exhaust or.......

Yeah, that was probably Brandi... if you get close enough to see the Hello Kitty seat cover or the giant Domo-kun in the passenger seat you can be sure.

It's straight up JDM yo! Hows it going Dan? You need to come take a ride in the car one of these days. Not 100% sorted yet, but definitely drivable again.

You think so, why? Never really crossed my mind. I have not really looked into the 09 tranny too much. If I were to buy one, could I go to the dealership or would I just order it from somewhere?

This is sounding like a fun swap-out.

Is the driveshaft the same for MT vs. AT, diff gearing the same? I don't know, that's why I'm tossing it out for consideration. You might want to check with Mazmart6 in the Vendor subforum for used gear before dealing with the 'stealerships'.

I did mention a little road trip from last weekend. A fellow "off-marque" driver at the event gave his HD camcorder to a flag station worker, and this is the result. You are looking back down the 'Esses' (turns 2 and 3) at Watkins Glen, the car that looks like my avatar is, well, the model for the avatar. Fair warning, the video is HD and HUGE at 173MB! The black "Scooby" STi driver is who to thank for the video.

Club rules forbid cameras in cars with instruction being conducted (weird, you'd think it would make for better instruction ), so no GoPro footage from this session.

I think gearing is either different or similar. I'll go read rotary resurection's post again about his swap. I'll just look around and take some time before I actually go buy one. I can't wait till this happens, lol.

Anyways, wats everyone up too...........
