Probably. Definitely if I keep mine and get an additional.

In the meantime, I've decided to leave rx8 club due to the fact that I've found a much better one...

ROFL @ dream cruisers!! "Our CLUB has no dues and is for social events that bring people together to celebrate the joy of owning a PT CRUISER"
The joy of owning a PT cruiser?? I thought that club was more of a support group! I hope our club doesn't doesn't pass them on the road and get into an impromptu no-holds-barred speed race. I can only imagine the carnage.

LPR0923 now knows what I endured...

"Support group", indeed. Tinny, uncomfortable (and this was a "Touring Model"!), makes the -8 look like a low-rpm torque monster in comparison. I look back at owning that car, and continually wonder,

"What the HELL was I thinking!?!"

Mazda forever, ever more...

Owings Mills 8

Just out of curiosity, anyone here live around the Owings Mills area and work off Painter's Mill Rd at T Rowe Price? I keep seeing a silver 8 with MS wing and exhaust leaving around lunchtime.

Congrats! I'm glad you are getting your car back soon. Hopefully as the weather gets nicer I'll get to see it at one of the gtgs. Thanks for the PT Cruiser link btw, because I have a co-worker with one that I always give grief, so I sent that link to him.

Oh also, I saw a yellow 8 on 32 just outside of Ft. Mead last night. I waved but it was pretty dark so I doubt he/she saw me. Anybody on here?

Amen, brother! My NASA instructor drives a 2006 RX-8, and gave me a co-pilot ride around the VIR "Full Course". Being told the line is one thing, being SHOWN the Line at full romp is quite the eye-opening experience!

I wish the frontend weren't so ugly. It looks really good from the back and sides. Just from the front, its looks like a little juvenile considering how sophisticated the car is. But, yeah in the grand scheme of things, that really doesn't matter. Been dreaming about making that my next car :P

yeah, who acre about looks when you consider the performance for the price. That is one of the cheapest supercars on the market. Who doesn't want one?

Anywho, backroads are the most fun (considering I have never been on a track with turns). I pushed my car to the limit today (Friday) going South then returning North on Harford Road through Baltimore county. Thought I was going to lose it 3 times! What a blast though!

And I got a new battery today! No more jump starts.

And speaking of electrical, anyone have to fix the soldering on the temp control ****? I followed the DIY yesterday after my heater crapped out. That was terrible and made me very nervous considering my soldering skills are nonexistant. 3 little dots of solder later it works again.

Have not had to do that, knock on wood
I will probably be opening up my dash for the umpteenth time (really only the third) to fix my radio finally.
I need to redo the ground and rewire my speaker outputs to hopefully get rid of some noise. Finally will be warm enough tomorrow.
It's during times like that that your heater can crap out on you; some of the wires and connectors can come loose. read that the DIY fix seems to work for everyone though.

Passed a yellow RX-8 on Gov. Bridge road and then caught up with him again in time to follow him down St. Stephen's Church for a bit today in our new NA Miata.

Do I remember right that a yellow RX-8 showed briefly to watch the MSCW auto-x in Bowie back in October? Same person maybe?

Nah, wasn't me.

Might have been cheaper if it *had* been me, it was shopping day and I had the BEV on the road. I could have bought BHR's coil kit and two pizzas for the installation, for what I got hit with yesterday at the warehouse club and grocery store.
