Relax Mr. Rexx

You should have gotten an automated confirmation from your google checkout that your order was processed. Keep in mind that MM doesn't have a garage full of AccessPORTs, he has to order it from Cobb and then redirect it to you.
11 business days is what it takes to ship so you'll get it soon.

As for lack of communication, just look at how crazy this thread is with millions of questions.
Now imagine what his email box looks like and how many PM's he gets through the various forums he's active on.

I know it's not fun to wait but know you're not being ignored nor did you fall through the cracks, MM is good for it and it'll all be worthwhile once you start the Calibration process

11 business days. (READ THE LINK)
You ordered on the 5th.
That means your order will typically ship by the 21st.

I don't reply to e-mails not sent in accordance with the instructions.

Jeff, just checking in... I sent a datalog on September 9th, its now October 19th and I haven't had any luck getting a hold of you with any method. I've been having issues with overboosting as well I really wanted to ask you about.

You were re-sent your update on October 5th.
Over-boosting is gonna be a boost controller issue, unless you have a mechanical issue like a cracked vacuum line or bent/misadjusted actuator arm.

Hmmm... I just checked every folder (include spam/trash etc) and I have nothing from you since Sep. 10th where you sent "Received." Could you please resend?

The overboosting has actually spawned a thread of its own: https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-major-horsepower-upgrades-93/need-greddy-profec-b-spec-ii-help-183839/page2/

I'm completely yanking the EBC from the equation next because even with it off completely I'm getting 12+ PSI. I checked the actuator and it travels fine. My biggest question for you though is; do you need a new set of datalogs if I modify the boost controller settings? I'm trying to get this overboosting issue resolved and I didn't want you to waste time modifying the tune if that was the case. Obviously any suggestions related to the overboosting problem itself would be appreciated to.

blackenedwings- Did you check your direct download link for the calibrations?
I see you have the base map and the 4.0.1 map in there.
Or are you inquiring about a 4.0.2 map?

Yeah, I've been waiting for 4.0.2 since September 9th. I included the 4.0.1 map on that email submission and the day afterwards I got a "Received." message. If a 4.0.2 was sent to me it never made it to my inbox.

Thats funny, youre over boosting and Im under boosting! Im only getting 4psi on v4.0.2. Not sure if my exhaust is just bad *** or Im leaking somewhere. I checked all the couplers and hoses and they seem secure. When I put the wategate actuator on, I remember that it was all the way to the right with one thread showing, which if Im correct is the tightest it can go. car bucks pretty bad in higher RPMs. Should have logs to you tomorrow.

Oh... figured if Jeff completed the 4.0.2 map he would have posted it on the direct download link.

Well the over or under boosting is not tied to the tune... it sounds like you either have a leak or you are opening the wastegate early. Are you getting wastegate flutter?

I know its not directed at the tune but this is the first time ive been able to go WOT so this problem is new for me. Im not too sure what wastegate flutter is but it seems to have a pretty strong reading on the boost gauge when it hits 4psi around 5,000 rpm. My gauge does flutter at idle though, not sure if thats tied to the wastegate or not. When I put my injectors in, I had to take the front of the VDI apart, that only goes together one way right? I didnt actually take anything off, just had it apart, and was thinking making that wasnt opening and causing the low boost symptom....

Yup.
Instead of Jeff sending our maps to us through email, we are sent a "direct download link" so we can download our map.
We can also use the link to check for new maps since sometimes email gets "lost" by server filters and other unknowns.

I am needing some help. I got my AP back from COBB because i was having some problems updating it. I had already sent it by the time I found out COBB broke Jeff's software and thought I had a problem with the unit. I got the AP back today..with the 105 firmware..but NOW it will not connect using the AP manager or updater..It's dead in the water. Ok I have had this thing for 3 months and have yet to really use it. I have uninstalled the drivers for it..uninstalled the updater and manager sofware about 5 times..reboot and reinstall everything.. NOw the damn unit will never even say connected to the computer.

ANy help??

AP firmware 1.5.0.2-11582
AP updater 1.2.2.2-11434
AP mgr 1.2.2.1

AP mAZ 001
serial 429

I gave up and went to my car and plugged it in thinking it would help "trigger" something..which it did. It said the dongle was out of date. It updated and somehow it had the calibration on it that I have been trying to load..But the problem is at this point I cannot use the AP now. It will not connect to anything but my car, but it's useless since I cannot update the thing or remove any calibration or add anything to it. No clue what to try next.

Still getting no where with this thing,, it will not even say connected to PC..I have tried XP, vista, diff usb cables..uninstalling and reinstalling about 8 times now..it will never connect..the LOGs for the updater says..USING OLD COMMS, cannot get version, etc etc. Failure to locate device. Seriously hating the decision to ever bother with this thing if I am going to have to keep sending it back into cobb each time it has a problem.. SWAP the damn thing out already or fix it.

Hmm. That's a new firmware that I know nothing about.
Try unchecking the "beta" box on the updater.

Thanks Jeff,,it makes no difference..this damn thing has been a F*&$ing problem since I got it. I wish they would just replace it or do what they need. It's not doing a bit of good sending it back and forth.

Just frustrated..have tons on my plate for the last month or two and this just brings more headache.
