Might be all of those in the current queue, but I'm not sure.
So if i sent my logs in on the 12th of october and didnt get a new one does that mean you never received my logs?

Usually, if you get no confirmation, it means either you sent it to the wrong place or you didn't follow directions.
I'll check with Hund and see what happened.

MFslacker22 - Hund says you received a confirmation message. Check your e-mail.
So, sit tight.
If you resubmit, it will keep pushing you to the back of the line.

Angry

Jeff, I have a little problem and at my wits end here. I just got my AP back today after sending it back and forth for the last month.. I get it back and LOW and BEHOLD..it doesn't work again. It will NOT update again, but it WILL work with my computer now..however I cannot install it on my car again. The 4_0_1 calibration that worked on my car before is once again, GRAYED OUT.

What in the hell do i have to do to make this thing work? i am about ready to give up and send it back for a refund that is how pissed I am getting here. This 700 piece of crap is useless to me.

Can you PLEASE, PLEASE help me out ? any ideas?... This unit is right back to square one,,locking up and will not update and now it will not install on my car either..so it's worse than when I sent it off..what is the f**k does someone have to do with this COBB company to get them to fix it or REPLACE THE ****?

seriously f**king fed up

Jeff, I will need you to send me an email to tfortier77@aol.com
with your address and such.

I want this unit replaced or I want my money refunded. Not trying to sound like a jerk but this thing is a royal piece of ****. Cobb must think this is funny by me having to send it to them..they have to keep screwing with it to get it to work on their end and then they send it back like everything is A-OK.. and it's not.

If you cannot replace it or find out why it will not work ,,I want a credit for the amount I paid.

I am not going to waste another day f**king with COBB telling me to send it in again..I specifically asked them to replace the unit since it has a problem but what did they do? downgrade the firmware instead of upgrade it like last time and then send it back to me. It has been back to them twice, once out of my own wallet.........Now it is dead in the water and it has been to them twice with no luck in fixing it.

I've had it- since they downgraded the software, it will not work with calibrations on my car and now it will not connect to any computer again.

another update

Here's the next update,

Now that the unit locks up with any computer again,,it HAS started interfacing with my car once again. Looks I got some **** unit someone made with spare parts that were sitting in water or some ****.

Cobb has basically been useless in the whole matter. Even with the company I work for,,if someone buys a product and it gives problems from day 1 and it has to keep coming back in..it just F**King gets replaced. What is the big deal. Take another out of stock and replace it, for jesus H sakes, why make someone go through this ****?

First - Calm Down.
Second - I told you BEFORE you sent it back the last time to send it to me. What was so hard about that?
Third - Carefully read your purchase agreement.
Fourth - I guarantee you that the problem is with your computer. I can assure you that Cobb is not screwing with you. We have HUNDREDS of these things out there and problems like you are experiencing are always something to do with the user's computer.

Like I said: SEND IT TO ME. I will verify that it works and we can move on from there.

Finally got my AP Today! I just finished the installation of the base calibration and I took it for a few minute ride. Everything was nice and easy BTW. It's got be your comp. Waterproofone! Did you to run it on a different computer?

Anyways, Is it me, or the car already feels more responsive and smooth? I didn't push it to hard(over 4500), but low tq seems to be improved... (maybe it felt that way, because I drove Saturn-commuter for the past few rainy days...)

The base map doesn't have any performance improvement.
You are more then likely feeling some pep as the car is rebuilding trims and/or a placebo.

I am doing my best to be calm.
How can it be my computer when it DOES THIS ON 3 different systems that worked previously? When I first got it ,,it worked fine. Then I had already sent it by the time you knew COBB messed up your programming. They updated the firmware to that 1.5.0..or something.. and ever since then it has been locking up.

Dude I am telling you, it locks up for them too. They even said it has a problem, why they just don't replace it i have no clue.. I am going to send it to you...
Yes i read my purchase agreement..but laws like this do not apply to NON-working new items. ..Warranty or not, you can't sell a new car that doesn't run and then take the money from someone too... No matter what written warranty says. You cannot take monies for a non-working item when it is expressly sold as a new item. Cobb should have already replaced the thing. it has a manufacturer warranty.

All due respect ,,seriously, Please understand I am totally willing to work with you but place yourself in my shoes. I am out 730.00 bucks.. BASICALLY for nothing????????? correct?
I mean I have YET to get this thing up and running since ? August 21st I think is when I ordered this.

what would you do? Who has 700 bucks to flush down the toilet.

Im tired of taking lunch breaks at work to send this thing back and forth.. Im telling you the thing is defective. It worked when I first got it..then after they updated it ..it hasn't worked right since. Either I can use it on the car..or on the computer..BUT NOT BOTH??

When I got it back today, it worked with the manager but I couldn't do anything with my car with it..so had no choice but to run the updater with NO CHECK MARKS on anything.. that caused it to lock up again. Now it won't work with xp, vista or windows 7(yes i know it's not supposed to work with 7). Cobb needs to get their act together for programming and such..this is just a game of cat and mouse sending it back and forth.

Please email me with your address so I can send it in..............................

Ty

hmm..totally understand what you say about a f**ked up IRQ settings..wow..it seems that 3 different computers must have fucked up IRQ's then. So it worked when I purchased it..then cobb updated the firmware and it has never worked right but it's MY computers doing this.. ok..sure let's stick that irq story.

You might be feeling something.
If your car's OMP output was low, the increased output of the base calibration would raise your dynamic compression a bit and could make quite a difference.
It is likely that it is just the reset fuel trims, though.

Jeff,

Since as I stated i can use the AP with my car but not interface with any computer and the firmware is on the 1.5.0.2..

When I ship the AP to you, do you want me to have the AP uninstalled from my car or does it matter?

Like I stated, it keeps reverting to the 1.5.0.2 firmware that allows me to USE the 4_0_1 calibration you sent but also disables it from working with a computer.

Whatever that is, is definitely noticeable. I drove it again this morning and responsivnes and low end tq was better.
Question: Can I start driving it normally(4-9K rpms) after the initial 2 drives and data-logs?

Rexx: as long as your car is idling smoothly and the fuel trims seem stable, yes.
