Cobb AccessPORT Discussion
I know Jeff is really busy, but I'm curious about my plots. Anybody have any comments? Or have you guys experienced similar results? In the next two weeks, all my mods will be complete for my NA setup. I think at that point in time is when my tune will need to be reviewed closer to eliminate the highs and lows in the AFR.
It was shipped on the 30th. The tracking number was also sent to the same e-mail.
Please send your relevant info to ap@mazdamaniac.

Sorry about that.
Regardless: Squeal of joy!
Thanks much!
In the discussions of Bernoulli's Principle, I mistakenly claimed that air behaves like a fluid. This is not entirely true. It has some of the properties of a fluid, but WILL compress (a fluid won't).
All of this thinking makes my head hurt...
Bernoulli's Principle works because each molecule of fluid pulls the next right along with it, each seeking the path of least resistance, i.e. low pressure (see "venturi effect". Weber carbs owes their entire existence to this principle.
What does it all mean? I haven't the foggest clue!

Here is a third gear run today. I'm thinking I'm not going to go up over about 5 or 6k RPM's till I get my fuel pump replaced. I think that's why I'm so lean up top. I hope so anyway.
I did a couple of first and second gear runs also and they all pretty much looked like this except for the drop into the 12's on the AFR's. They hit the high 12's for just a point or two and then shoot right back up. I think I needed the resolution of the third gear run to pick it up clearly.
The funny thing is that the AFR's I can pick up on the AP while trying to drive look lower than these. Any ideas why that might be? I can say I've never seen a 14 after about 4k RPM on a full throttle run on the AP.
MM, if you can let me know what you think.
