Scraped driver side skirt at McD's drivethru. Do you think this can this be fixed? Or do I need to buy a new one? Will be an expensive burger and shake...

Yes we will be heading to Biff's tonight

SWG and myself should be getting there around 6ish, and will be inside eating.

Just on a sidenote, I'm not getting any kind of a magic deal or discount for mentioning this, I just had a really positive experience with Ryan saving me about 20-30 bucks in shipping while we were building the car for Sema. He called me on my cellphone on a Sunday to correct a shipping preference I had chosen, he could have easily just let it go and pocketed the extra cash but instead he chose to call and explain everything and double check the order etc etc. I don't know of ANY other company that would have done that. I'd recommend going with the washers if you go this route also, they match nicely and really give it a finished look.

edit: I've done under the hood, the hood itself, and the trunk as they make nuts as well. I don't have any good pics of that I don't think, but I'll take some if interested, you also might be able to see some of that in the youtube vids in my sig.
Hey I have no idea what the sizes of the nuts for the front strut mounts or the firewall bolts so I can mount up my JIC 4 point front strut bar. Any ideas? I'd like to get some black nuts and bolts to match the black mounts I have. I'd go titanium but jesus christ that is expensive. edit: Is there anyway to just post up the sizes you bought and where they were for?

I don't. Cheap coilovers that will always be cheap. They aren't much more brand new. If you just want the cheapest set you will ever find they are ok, but I think buying a set of LEGIT coilovers used will be a better investment.

Would you guys recommend an AEM CAI or MS? Would they both produce similar results? The AEM is cheaper so I don't know if your just paying the extra cash just because it's an MS CAI but if they produce similar results and if you're ok with how they look I suppose it wouldn't matter. I've seen both intakes installed throughout the forum and haven't really heard about either of them breaking down or being defective.

lol ok I'll help even though I doubt the effectiveness of your searching. MS = AEM 100% and they have "problems" with sucking up water. I've never had the problem and I've driven in HEAVY rain. The rx8 isn't up for fording a river Oregon Trail style no matter what intake you have.

They are the same, if you have a choice and are still under warranty, get the MS since it is a factory part. Both tbk and grungepup had problems with water with the MS intake but like I said, the AEM (old version)/MS (no longer made) are the same. Personally I think intakes are a waste of money unless you just want the cool sound (it does sound badass).

Cheap coilovers will likely destroy the handling of the RX-8 rather than help it. Even the Stance coilovers on Hoss-05's car have been a handful to get setup and they are no where near perfect. If you have the cash, get a good spring/shock combo.

IMO, there are so many knock offs out there (Stance included) that I would stick with something you can verify the origin on. Many "JDM" coilovers are made in Taiwan.

I'll be getting back tomorrow afternoon and I'd like to try working on replacing my broken fan this weekend, though I don't really know how anyone else's plans are looking.
