Welcome aboard! Some of us have a lot going on right now but typically we meet quite often. Hoss-05 is coming in from Afghanistan in a week so we will definitely have a get together for him while he is here so keep an eye on this thread.
I should have my new engine and turbo kit on in the coming weeks so I will definitely want to get together to show off once it's done
But there are the Friday night meets and Coffee & cars is this Saturday. I won't be there and I doubt any other 8's will be but you should try and make it, it is a cool event with may exotics, etc.. I actually thought about going because I hate to miss it but I need ot get my old motor out of the car ASAP.

It was a productive weekend. Got the house all cleaned up an organized. It feels so empty now. All I have to do is drain the coolant and oil and the engine is ready to come out.
yeah it was pretty awesome, took it to 2 places, the first place which is shell rapid lube on slaughter/bilbrook started giving me **** about the car before even starting the inspection, told me my headlights were illegal, car was too low, eyebrow came down to far in the front, dude was straight haterade from the get go, they were going to do it anyway until we discovered I was driving around with the wrong insurance card, which I found immediately upon returning home and I had just forgot to swap it out. I heard one of those guys saying something as I was driving off to the effect of "....drive around in a car like that...blah blah blah"...sooo....they can go **** themselves.
Once I had the right insurance, I decided to try the stealership, and was met with a totally different reaction, one of the guys working the service bay saw the car at heatwave and was asking 50 questions about it, the service writer was blown away, I mentioned my earlier experience and the guy was like "huh? pffft, you're car looks fine to me, should pass no problem"....soooo wtf was up with the other guy? If I was petty/vindictive/whatever I'd drive my car back to them, show them my shiny new sticker, and then proceed to kick said dude in the ***** as hard as I could, but it's really not worth it to me, maybe I'll send an email to corporate or something but still, just seems a waste of time. This type of thing reminded me of back in the 90's when I rode around slammed in my little hatchback with all my mini-truckin' buddies..I thought we'd moved on since those days but I guess in some places we haven't.

fixed!Nah this dude was straight up typical redneck jackass, I looked around the parking lot to see what cars were there and I saw a crusty f-ed up jeep, that was probably homedude's ride, that or he rides in to work with his mom or something since there were only 2 cars that looked to be employee cars there
Well, In my opinion Loredo did another great job. The car is not even waxed and polished either. The spots on it are pollen or something from his drive over. Just needs a drop bad
