I sprayed my car off when I got back from SA about a month ago, and I got what looks like salt spots.

When, I sprayed off in San Marcos or New Braunfels not a spot.

I can't wait to track at H2R in Feb so I can can get decent water.

Out here they pull water outta the upper Colorado River lakes that are full of salt(maybe leftover from the oil produced so you guys can show off your cars).

 

On that note, I gotta say, I love to go to SA!

I'm driving down through the best scenery in the world at 80mph legally, and while I'm waiting for my wife to shop at her stores (Macy, Dillards, TJMaxx, Marshalls, Cantera, The Rim, etc), I wipe my 8 with Turtle Wax Detail.

I can polish the whole car while she's in one or two stores to keep off the spots I'm going to get when I get home.

Of course, I'd like an opportunity to meet some more of you guys.

 

We will have to do a mini meet when you come for the cooler install.

Anyone know the rules of posting non rx8 things for sale or to "gather interest" for sale, in this san antonio thread? (I.E. High def projector, ps3, wii with balance board, 7.62X39 ammo etc?)

Just found out yesterday that Noribilt now has an AWD dyno... apparently the first in town. Haven't seen anything on pricing so might have to call about that. Not sure if that MM day is still being planned, but we should definitely try to do a dyno day if we can get enough people and if the pricing is alright.

 

Yes we should, I need to get on the dyno.

 

Man, id love to get that MM dyno day... but idk whats going on, people dont seem to like to buy the Cobb AP in Texas...

I will be working on the Hymee supercharger install on Hoss-05's car soon enough so whether we have a MM day or not (not likely due to lack of interest) I will put together a dyno day of some sorts soon. I just finished making some changes to a tune and I want to get some baselines without it, and then load it and see whats up. Then I want to do some runs on and off the bottle.

 

Yea I'd at least like a baseline with the new motor, BHR Ignition, BHR mid, AEM, and catback. Basically all the easy boltons.

Nope but I might move some stuff in my dayplanner (jk) around if an rx8 dyno day came up.

 

I think it go's without saying I am down for a dyno day for sure.

 

A baseline before the supercharge would be fun to see... gives a better sense of what was actually gained.
