You know I am "easy" I'm down for what ever. I think I can block of half of the parking lot of R-bar but they dont have food really... but would let us order in.

 

Just found out I have a happy hour going down on wed at the R-Bar anyway so I am down for whatever Thursday.

Hey guys going out of town soon so ill miss out on the sherlocks fun. But did manage to get out to parkway 37 fun little drive and not too hard on the car recommend going out that way if you haven't been, the lake at the end looks pretty sick as well.

 

I've never been to Sherlocks but I'm down for whatever.

 

Is the R-Bar off frederickburg right by USAA? I use to live off of cinnamon creek (I think thats the name of the street) and when I went to that bar I'd always try to get a high score on the punching bag lol.

 

I know there's an R-bar off of rittiman looks like a lil dive bar

 

I won't be able to get down there until 8:30, possibly 9... Even at zoom-zoom speeds, I am up for whatever y'all decide.

On a side note I went to the track last night and found out 2 things. I run a 16.2 quarter mile and my back tires are all season lol. The front tires are nexen and the back are michelin, never noticed till my friend pointed them out last night. It was my first time so I'm sure I could of gotten high 15's if I had the right tires and knew how to launch correctly. What do you guys rev up to when you launch? I was trying for 5 or 6.

 

Yes Sherlockes is 21+ only... and honestly none of us have or probably never will run our 8s on a drag strip. It is not what it is designed for. Just wait till the weather cools down and we for sure will make a hill country run to the 3 sisters and you will see what the 8 was designed for...

 

Yeah my friend was saying I should do the auto cross that they have over there sometimes.

I came across the "marbles in a can" in the new or soon to be new 8 owners thread and I didn't know if this will be a problem or not but when I turn my car off right when it gets to the end of winding down it does sound like marbles in a can. Should I be worried or does that only apply to while it's running?

 

Seven PM works for me but I cant stay late I have to take care of a few things late tonight in preparation for my trip back.

LOL well since you just turned 21 (and I'm sure everyone else is over 21) is anyone down for a trip to 6th street in a party bus? Brittney is turning 21 in Oct and we wanted to rent a party bus on her bday weekend (Oct 15). The bus only holds 23 passengers. We made a Facebook event but I don't have any of you on my Facebook so I'm asking here. I forgot to ask you guys last night. It's BYOB but I will probably buy some for everyone just to have some variety. It's a $30 cover to help pay for the bus. I can't get to the site from work cuz it's blocked but if you google redstarbuses.com it's the Mick Jagger bus. The pics of the buses look pimp AND there's a stripper pole in the middle for those who wanna show their skillz ( J )
