Never fear, Jedi is here! (in case your dealership gives you crap about your car being "fine")

Here's a TSB for the sunroof rattle: http://www.finishlineperformance.com...29-06-1651.pdf
Unfortunately, this is not a 'quick fix'. They'll most likely need to order the parts and it'll take at LEAST 3 hours to complete the job

Here's a Service Bulletin for the A/C: http://www.finishlineperformance.com...02-04-1338.pdf

mazda pays them for 2.6 hours of labor but taking off that roof liner can't be all that easy. They most likely quoted a full day since it would occupy one of their techs for a full day AND it's tough to tell how much other work they'll have...

ac not fixed but part on order. sun roof not fixed but parts on order.
what did they fix?? well i got my oil changed.
and they put new motor mounts in. did not have too ask for them.
and i also got four new coil packs put in at no charge too me.
the only thing i paid for was the oil change.

nice. (doesn't it suck how they never have anything in stock?)

i think coil packs are "ignition coil" packs. jorge found a TSB where our cars burn out the coil packs prematurely and there is noticeable whp power loss.

yup, you're right Detrich.
xrider: since the 8 doesn't have a distributor, the ignition coils (coil packs) are where the spark plug wires come back to (from the spark plug)

yeah, 2 of mine burned out but I just replaced on my own instead of haggling with the dealership. I think it definitely showed on my dyno pulls

ah hell i had a whole page of stuff typed up and lost it.
lucky for you guys . well to make it short. we should not have to feel like
we accomplished something, just for making the dealer do something that they
should be doing anyway . our cars cost alot of money, i think we deserve to be pamperd.

If you use the code, it's $900 at Circuit City. Sweet! $900 for a 55"LCD.
