Leaving at 10 would have helped.... but it still would have been busy. that is generally the nature of a big bear run. (though this was worse then normal.)

as a whole we should pretty much set a rule that we are leaving at 10:00. but in Damons defense, he did not plan on breaking down.

I am sure next month will be better. the June meet was awsome, July was ok. you cant win them all.

 

Yes I'm not saying that leaving at 10 would have been a for sure thing of less traffic. Big Bear is a busy run. Even red road gets busy this time of year because of the lake and camping. We can’t make it to the point that we leave to early because then no one would show up. At the begging we where leaving early but weren’t getting as many people to show. So I think 10 is fine.

Casey I wasn’t upset at Damon. Things happen and we all try to stick together or at least make sure that if everyone can make it on the run we try to get them all to come. We don’t leave someone out on the road unless we know everything is ok. All I'm saying is it seems like it's getting later and later every month and I think we do need to set a boundary on how long we should even wait for people to show up. If we leave the same time every month we would have a better chance of a nicer run and people would actually trying to show up on time.

We also have some guys coming from fair. So if we leave late then that takes even more of their day. I’m sure after driving that fair they would like to at least try for a nice run.

You and Jesse have the say so if you think this is working then that’s ok. I just thought I would throw out what I think and what it seemed like people where thinking at the meet.

 

Yeah I agree! When I got in with Jesse I even said I wish the batterie hadnt died because it would have been nice to get shots from a differnt car.

It was weird because we sort of forgot to take pictures this time around. I'll see what few pics Emilie took and post them tonight.

 

ha ha ha. i had two camera's the big one and a small one. we just plane forgot, and the short run i had did not help any.

 

O' that would have been nice. I didn’t even think about asking some one if they had one that I could use. I'm thinking about routing around from car to car to take pictures next time. This way I can get some different shots. As long as I can find someone to let me ride shot gun I know how hard it is to find rides.
