I had Kevin get me a new computer case (Thermaltake Tsunami Dream), a new DVD burner, and a new Antec P/S.
So far I'm loving the new case...

 

becareful with this one it might one of the lower quailtt's that they make.
sony has two top line lcd models, the problem is the one that is just a little cheaper.
has a yellowish green cast in the top right hand corner.
they were still charging 2600. bucks and they knew that models chip was bad
before it even left the store...

 

oh i,m back home. and i need to take my car to the dealer fot the ac.
the only problem is the sucker does not act up when i want it too..
i was going to buy a laptop while i was in atl. but decided three pc's is enough.
two desk top's side by side at home, and my laptop that my girlfriend has
stolen from me to use at work, "even though i offered it to her."

 

if you watch the 4.5min. video clip, the guy says that the HDMI ports have two functions, which is true. however, the functions he said were wrong. he said "high definition audio and sound" . last i checked, audio and sound are the same thing.

what he really meant to say, or so i believe, is that HDMI supports both high definition sound and video.

 

we can meet up after i get off work some day, or we can meet up on a saturday or sunday now that i have weekends off .

 

you can never have enough computers .

here at home i have a total of 5. 4 of which are always used, and the 5th one is an old computer that i don't use any more, even though it works still.

i'm looking at buying parts to build another computer soonish, and hopefully even buy myself a laptop on top of that. and then, my mom has recently been wanting a computer of her own as well. so, that would be a total of 7 computers here at home that would always be used .

so yea, you can never have enough computers .

i don't have 5.4 computers. i have a total of 5 computers, 4 of which are always being used. if you notice, there is a space ( ) between the period (.) and the four (4).

but then, if you want to put it like that, i have enough parts to not make a whole computer. i still lack a motherboard, case, and power supply to build another computer. so, that would be a 0.4 of a computer. so if i wanted to be technical about it, i have a total of 5.4 (five point four) computers here at home .

 

too bad you dont have enough parts to make a rotary car, lol jesse and casey probabely used to or still do?

p.s. went to the dealer this am. they said they tested the battery and that it is "within specs" and they won't be replacing it. they re-charged it for 45 min and said to just start the car up more often. i mentioned that they said they would give me a new battery, because i just drove the car only a few days ago and that it shouldn't have gone dead so fast. but, they said since it's within specs they can't change it under warranty.

i decided not to argue and figure if it happens again, at least there's a service record trail about my complaint. worse case scenario, i will pay $130 and buy another battery myself. i also asked about the TSB jorge mentioned. and, they said that it doesn't apply to my car if i had the emission recall done.

anyhow. the car's been starting ok for now after the jump. i'll keep an eye on it, but somehow i feel that this won't be the end of this problem...

did u remove or disconnect the data cable for any of the front seats? that might trigger it and u have to go to the dealer to have them reset it.

 

no. i haven't messed with the car in any way. i've had the car for a little over a week, and the light just turned on about 3 days ago.

 

hmm, i guess check the manual and see what actions can trigger the srs. most likely it will require a visit to the dealer- only because they don't like customers self-servicing any safety-related features.

 

i already read the owner's manual. it says that if it's lit up, it's not functioning properly. that's all it says. i'm assuming that it won't fire in case of an accident.

i know something like that will require a trip to the dealer, but my car was sold "as-is".....so any trip to the dealer will cost me some dough.

know anybody that has an ECU reader for hondas for these type of issues?

 

hey detr. when you use the radio are anything like that with the car not running it will pull the bat. down to almost nothing. trust me when i ran mines down, i could not run the radio without the car running. now if push comes to shove what you can do is open up the bat. and fill it with water. i bet it would not fall between specs then...

 

I actually managed to drain my YELLOW TOP battery recently.
Rodger and I were trying to see how much juice the subs were pulling and after 20 minutes of running my stereo at "MAX", the thing started to stall...

 

anybody need a carfax report run on any particular car? i purchased the 30 day report thing. i have about 18 days left.

 

i went to Pep Boys today and bought a portable combo 450 watt mobile charger + air tire compressor unit for $70. they also had a 300 watt one for $40, but it didn't have the air compressor. i figure if i'm going to spend $, then might's well kill 2 birds with one stone... anyone ever use one of these?

i also was tempted to get a battery charger, but i figure if my car goes dead again this week, i'll just get a new battery. the jump starter will at least save me the hassle of having to call mazda or AAA. <sigh> why does mazda make every service request a root canal?

oil change, look at the sunroof rattle, see why my ac blows hot
when it's set for cold and why the heater blows cold when it's set for hot.
and maybe get my car back today cleaner then when i dropd it off.
