Reserve has been met on the wheels.
As long as I do not end up with a deadbeat bidder, they will be gone in a few more days.

Had another house not go through. I got beat, someone else already had an offer in on it. Still looking for a house.

I need a vacation. Maybe a trip to vegas?.!
who's with me?

You know what would make vegas even more fun . . . . . ?

If we could get a bunch of 8's to drive out there together. maybe have a meet and drive. . . . . . . . . or a dyno day . . . that would be cool

Yeah, those caravans Arizona guys have when they come out to Sevenstock look like a blast. Going the other way towards Vegas would be fun as well.....just expensive

We had brought up the idea of a Vegas, or even state-line run during sometime after the 1st anniversary of the meets....but it was never more than one of those cool ideas.....

I'm currently showing houses in Fontana, San Jacinto, Elsinore, Murrietta. Send me a pm w/ what you're looking for, and if I see anything I'll let you know.

I might have a laid back weekend this 3 day weekend, I was thinking of heading to Vegas. I'm looking for rooms at our timeshares. I actually want to go and kick back, not just gamble all weekend like I usually do.

If we do a vegas run, we would need to take the right roads to get there. The 15 is boring.

But if they are planning a vegas rotary meet/dyno day . . . that would be a perfect reason to go to vegas. ( Acording to Steph, you dont even need a reason to go to vegas. )

I can tell you, without a doubt, that going from the 245 street tires, to 245 race tires, I picked up over a second in time around a 60 second course....and then the second jump from 245 race tires to 285 race tires....there was another 1.0-1.5 seconds gained.

The 3-time B-stock champion drove my car with the 285 race tires and had more than a few compliments and comments about the amount of grip the car had compared to his 3-time BS winning car. He also had comments about how heavy my car felt, and that I could improve on the suspension side...but that is another discussion. Grip is very important...the more you can get, the better, especially with the RX8 as it tends to be a momentum car...the more momentum you can carry around a corner, the better exit speed you have.....this is all assisted by tire compound and size.

It is called understear ("PUSH")......this is what happens with staggered tire fitment. You also had an issue with that setuip you got from Toca (Don) as the overall tire heights were different as well, from front to back.

Go ahead and get on xbox and send me your car....I can adjust the settings on Forza and send it back to you. Should greatly improve your times around Maple Valley or Silverstone

$1200, oh come on.......REALLY?

after spending all the money I did on parts that really ended up doing nothing for the car, I can't even imagine someone thinking this is really even worth 1200 bucks.

Loren, found some other A-class tunes....but a couple of them are in the download packs of cars....don't know if you plan on doing them. I wasn't going to as first, with the idea that I already have enough cars to play with now....but there are some really competitive cars in the download packs, and since I'm trying to get in the top 100 on the leaderboards, I want the best cars available.

I know Casey and Cesar are busy most night lately....and Jessie hasn't been on for quite sometime.

FYI, if you go to the scoreboards....then switch the view to your friend's list, you can see the cars they have used to race on specific tracks. You can download their setups as well.....Now that I have some pretty good times on tracks, if you find yourself struggling on a specific track or series, look at the car I used and download the tune.

Most interesting part of the article for me was that they had to send in military to protect the pandas from poachers. I can only imagine what price those would bring on the black (and white) market.

wow, you still don't have the COD4 map packs? Someone is going to be going on ebay a lot to get microsoft points. No problem about tennis. I'll be home either way.

Gerry, No, we didn't get to see any of the pandas.....would ahve figured being in China for a month we would have had time...but we just had so many things already on our minds, and the country is huge, and transportation was slow. We lost a lot of time on the trains.

and 2 days ago i bit the big one and bought a 50gal. saltwater tank..... and you wanna talk about pain in the *** to get started... holy crap! but the talk is up and running, the salt levels are finally stable, and i got some live rock, coral, and dempsy fish in there to get her all cycled

Did someone say Guitar Hero IV?

GH4 is coming this fall.
Looks interesting.

I'd buy it just for the song on the Youtube video. I've been hoping that song would be released for Rockband, and it hasn't.
They also mention the Eagles and Sublime, plus, they are all originals. Not the fake band version that they usually mixed in w/ originals.

Some highlights;
  • Online Band Career
  • Electric drum kit (real)
  • 8 player Battle of the Band mode
  • Music studio creator to make your own songs and download from other bands through GHTunes.
The game will feature a slick newly redesigned guitar, a genuine electronic drum kit and a microphone, as well as an innovative Music Studio music creator that lets players compose, record, edit and share their own rock and roll anthems, along with online Band Career and 8-player "Battle of the Bands."

Delivering the largest on-disc set list in a music-rhythm game to-date, Guitar Hero World Tour is comprised entirely of master recordings from some of the greatest classic and modern rock bands of all-time including Van Halen, Linkin Park, The Eagles, Sublime and many more. Additionally, the game will offer significantly more localized downloadable music than ever before on all of the next-generation consoles. Budding rock stars will also be given creative license to fully customize everything from their characters' appearance and instruments to their band's logo and album covers.

In addition to a newly designed more responsive guitar controller and microphone, Guitar Hero World Tour will deliver the most realistic drum experience ever in a video game with an authentic electronic drum kit. Featuring three drum pads, two raised cymbals and a bass kick pedal, the drum controller combines larger and quieter, velocity-sensitive drum heads with soft rubber construction to deliver authentic bounce back and is easy to set up, move, break down and store.

Rock Band has my vote (I'm hoping this doesnt turn into another Beta/VHS...or Blu-Ray/HD war)....If it does, I hope I'm on the right side of the line.

Erica and I thought about doing a salt water tank when we first moved into the house, but decided against it given the start up costs and headaches. They are definately nice to look at, and I hope yours gets up and running.

There was just too many things to consider with the salt tank, more than it was worth for Erica and I. We then thought about just getting a freshwater tank, but we got discouraged when the color and variety of the salt water world wasn't available in the freshwater world.

Good luck on your project though.
