So after 3 years of ownership I have added almost 1000 miles to my new ride. (It was an investment, not really a driver)

Maybe I should make a meet or two to say hello to old friends. I can bring the kids, get them in to cars at an early age.

How is the old crew doing?

the old crew is doing pretty good last I heard. Most have moved on from RX8's but a few of us remain.

 

Bought a 911.

Figured most people had moved on to new cars, That is what car people do.
Or they have kids and need a backseat and such. (One of the reasons I got my car)

I really need to make a meet or two just to say hello to everyone.

problem is a lot of regulars who hosted / attended this meet have moved on to other cars.

• Vipers (who worked at the tattoo shop whose parking lot we invaded) - Probably driving another Evo if I had to guess
• Kwescott - sold his BB 8
• Snowflake - sold her BB 8
• Speeddemon32 - sold his 8
• Lesper4 - sold his 8, got a 370z. (traitor!)
• FastRX8 - moved to TX but still has his 8.

 

What about other Mazda's? Miata's, 3's, 6's, RX-7's, etc.
I know a few Miata pals that MIGHT be interested.


What about starting something new? Different name, different location, new thread.
SCAR and KINOD are the only regular meets I know of but are kinda far (I live in Rialto).

Moved to AZ.
Wife had another baby. (Boy 12, girl 11, and girl 1)
Other than that life is just moving along smoothly.

I moved to TX 2.5 years ago, so guess I'm not going to be attending any San Bernardino meets any time soon.
Actually hung out with FastRX8 (Cesar) yesterday as we went shooting in the morning then came back to the house to hang out for a bit.

 

I still have mine as well, it hates me and I hate it back. Its been banged up, patched up and primer all over the place. But it still drives smooth like it should.
