fog bulbs and parking bulbs have been switched out!. looks good, now i just need to figure out where my stereo is grounding out.

Grats on swapping out the bulbs. I just ordered a bunch of led's last week as well.

Time to start tracing back wires, start with your amps.

bummer just noticed that one parking light is not working, at least it is accessed from the top but it is the passenger side . I thought you were all LEDed out already?

Yeah that will be the hard part.

loren: remember that the LED's are polarity sensitive so try unplugging it, flipping it around and plugging it back in.


Scremn: I completely agree!
the paint on our cars is too soft, my poor front bumper is a MESS! Although, wait till you check out my car in the morning, I found a way to make the front bumper look like new again. Well, almost.

Hello all, been quite some time......

We got to watch our first Sunday football game together this last weekend, and got to watch the Patriots beat up on "batman and robin". Glad that football season is back.

yah, our paint kinda sucks. porter cable can only do so much... my car is still filthy from the last 2 canyon runs... dunno if i'll have time to wash it b4 saturday...

nice pix keith. looks like brady is back in business this season. although it's always nice to see dallas lose... j/k, but not really

Detrich: yeah, our paint is pretty crappy but at least it's not as bad as Mitsu or Subie paint, those are AWFUL.
Porter cable? I still haven't gotten around to buying one of those...

Got my back to black (for exhaust shrouds)...my turtle wax headligth restor kit...and now I just need time to clean the car.

Bigger issues with my mom and her mother in law were exclated yesterday...anyone have a good lawyer?

loren> the plastic trim on my lower rear bumper & exhaust shrouds actually isn't black- but more like a "very, very dark gray." coldflame had a detailer apply back to black on his 8's bumper trims, and it's noticeably darker than oem. but, i actually think the black looks better than the oem dark gray. but, before you apply it, just make sure you're committed to the color. cuz, once u go black, u can't go back! (sorry had to get that pun in there.)

that said, i use a comparable product called Forever Black to touch up the black plastic bumper trim on my beamer, which the trim -IS- actually "black." that stuff is awesome- cuz it has a light glossy finish. and i use it to touch up scratches everywhere. i even used it to dye a pair of starter motorcycle gloves from blue to black, and you can't even tell they were dyed...

jorge> i thought u had a porter cable, or is zaino your quasi-porter cable? i hope i'll have time to wash the 8 before saturday, but it's a busy week this week. :P

Nope, no porter cable for me but after this weekend, my front bumper has never looked better!

well i was going to use the B2B on the exhaust shrouds, the center peice betweeen the side windows and maybe on the black by the wipers. I would be happy if it is black as apposed to dark grey.

Cesar IS alive.

I have no idea, I do everything by hand. If you are going to SS Cesar and haven't washed your car stop by Friday at 5. I will be out in the drive way or in the garage well into the night. You can wash yours too.

the conveyor belt car washes scratch up the bottom of your front bumper where the wheel catches... my bmw's is all scratched up from it, but i'm not as **** about it since it's a 10+ year old car... i'd cry if i saw similar scratches on the 8...

so, no to no touch...

See you learn something every day. Having never been through one, the manual car washes I have seen grab the wheels only.

The RX-8 is pushing 5 years already!
