Grats on swapping out the bulbs. I just ordered a bunch of led's last week as well.
Time to start tracing back wires, start with your amps.

Yeah that will be the hard part.

loren: remember that the LED's are polarity sensitive so try unplugging it, flipping it around and plugging it back in.
Scremn: I completely agree!
the paint on our cars is too soft, my poor front bumper is a MESS! Although, wait till you check out my car in the morning, I found a way to make the front bumper look like new again. Well, almost.

Hello all, been quite some time......
We got to watch our first Sunday football game together this last weekend, and got to watch the Patriots beat up on "batman and robin". Glad that football season is back.

keith: great pics.
so when do we start training little Brady to be the next All Pro QB?
rgl: cool video, thanks for sharing.
Detrich: yeah, our paint is pretty crappy but at least it's not as bad as Mitsu or Subie paint, those are AWFUL.
Porter cable? I still haven't gotten around to buying one of those...
Loren: ready for SevenStock???

loren> the plastic trim on my lower rear bumper & exhaust shrouds actually isn't black- but more like a "very, very dark gray." coldflame had a detailer apply back to black on his 8's bumper trims, and it's noticeably darker than oem. but, i actually think the black looks better than the oem dark gray. but, before you apply it, just make sure you're committed to the color. cuz, once u go black, u can't go back! (sorry had to get that pun in there.)
that said, i use a comparable product called Forever Black to touch up the black plastic bumper trim on my beamer, which the trim -IS- actually "black." that stuff is awesome- cuz it has a light glossy finish. and i use it to touch up scratches everywhere. i even used it to dye a pair of starter motorcycle gloves from blue to black, and you can't even tell they were dyed...
ack what happened
jorge> i thought u had a porter cable, or is zaino your quasi-porter cable? i hope i'll have time to wash the 8 before saturday, but it's a busy week this week. :P

well i was going to use the B2B on the exhaust shrouds, the center peice betweeen the side windows and maybe on the black by the wipers. I would be happy if it is black as apposed to dark grey.

Cesar IS alive.
I have no idea, I do everything by hand. If you are going to SS Cesar and haven't washed your car stop by Friday at 5. I will be out in the drive way or in the garage well into the night. You can wash yours too.

the conveyor belt car washes scratch up the bottom of your front bumper where the wheel catches... my bmw's is all scratched up from it, but i'm not as **** about it since it's a 10+ year old car... i'd cry if i saw similar scratches on the 8...
so, no to no touch...

See you learn something every day. Having never been through one, the manual car washes I have seen grab the wheels only.
