Well, a bit of good news in regards to my buddy Charron!

A few hours after posting my last post, i went back and revived Charron. And an hour later or so, i finally got to meet Dogmeat. and now the three of us are wandering the waste land and killing people who are lit up red on my HUD.

BTW: Thank you for the post Loren....it was perfect timing. I am reviewing graphing with students today and of course the age-old question always comes up "why do we have to learn this...we will NEVER use it!". As soon as I saw the link I put it up on the projector.....the diagram is affixed to a coordinate plane!!!! (x & y axis) YES!!!!!

my kids hate me

Fallout 3. He's a character that follows you around and helps you out. I also just got Dogmeat the dog last night as well!

Based on his siggy, he's been playing Fallout 3. Must be a character on there.

and if it isn't a "cry wolf" and is in fact serious? now, how bad/guilty would you feel then?

because we all know that RL doesn't have any save points....

not to ruin your fallout 3 experience, but you really need to get the broken steal DLC as their is a perk called puppy power or something like that...so that when YOU DO lose dogmeat, you can go back to the scrapyard and there will be a new puppy there waiting for you.

Fallout rocks

here's my random dysfunctional advertising jingle for Corn Nuts....here it goes.

[singing]

Go to your room and lock the door,
'cause when you try it once,
You'll wanna try it some more,
Size doesn't matter and thats a fact,
It might be small but it's a big impact,
Bust a Nut! Bust a Nut!
Grab a bag of Corn Nuts and Bust a Nut,
They're lightly toasted and hard as well,
enjoy yourself, we won't tell

Everybody does it
They like it a lot
You can do it at school,
Just don't get caught
It takes a few minutes
If you don't delay
Take your time,
and you'll last all day
Bust a Nut!, Bust a Nut!

Grab a bag of Corn Nuts,
and Bust a Nut,
They're lightly toasted and hard as well,
Enjoy yourself,
we won't tell.

[/singing]

cool! i REALLY need to get that new DLC. Fallout 3 is indeed an awesome game. but that one particular perk, i don't think i'd use it. i think i'd just go back to an older save point and have my dog back. now, all i need to do is remember to save about every 20min. or so and i'll be good .

what kind of other/newer perks are there? and after this latest quest, imna go for all the bobbleheads

Man oh man I need to get a 360. A guy at work was selling one not too long ago so next time I go in I'll see if he still has it. If so, I may have one this week. But I'm not getting my hopes up just in case, haha.

drafting.
unline Nascar, you don't draft directly behind the guy in front of you, you follow slightly off to the side to get downforce on the front of the car.

they prolly cut wide- coming out of the turn, then gradually steer closer to the inside lane for the straight away, and then cut wide in prep for the turn again?

I think this is true, however not in this situation. I think they get downforce either way...

1. The outer side of the rings turn lets you keep a higher speed than the inside of the turn while turning, its true, ask anyone who tracks their car.

2. They go towards the inner part of the straight away from having the car behind it cutting them off in the upcoming turn....

3. They may also do it so they can also see the road instead of the car in front of them

You're suppose to go out-apex-out. You go into the turn at 1/3 throttle, then full throttle at apex all the way back out. This is the most commonly used technique there is.
