Ok -
New one today.
This one will be tougher for some of the younger crowd.

This is a picture trivia. You can google all you want.

I covered the name and any reference to the name of this super fun toy (obviously pre-gaming consoles).

I'm looking for the exact name.

All this talk about 80's rock bands makes me want to blow on my Nintendo Cartridge and play some Contra. After I put in the code of course. up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, a,b. I think that there is something missing though.

Technically, it was

up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, b, a
Of course, at the end, you had to hit Start, but that's not really part of the code, it was just to start the game.

Check out this site -
http://konamicodesites.com/
You can't enter the site until you do the code using your keyboard.
As soon as you hit the "a" the site loads.

'Select start' was to play a 2 player game.

it was up, up, down, down, left, right, left right, a, b, b, a, then start.

This is not to be confused with the 7-hit combo for subzero on MK3

My favorite "glitch" or technique was the infinite 1-up move with the turtle on super marios brothers 1

I think my top 5 Nintendo hits from the 80's would have to include:

Mike Tysons Punch Out
Zelda (the first one)
Contra
RC Pro Am
RBI Baseball

LIES!!! That's the code to show your friends you like gay music from the 70's. (ABBA)
The real code is up, up, down, down, left, right, left right, b, a

Go to this site - http://konamicodesites.com/
You can't enter the site until you enter the code. Try your code, then try the one I posted.

Or, go to Facebook.
You don't even have to be signed in.
On any Facebook page, enter the code using your keyboard
up, up, down, down, left, right, left right, b, a, enter key
Then try typing or clicking anywhere on the page.
Don't even have to click actual links, just click in any space on the page.

They're pretty impressive for their age, and they sound original.
