Ran into a Farrari Testerossa yesterday on the freeway, (coming back from San Diego) sounded like the real thing. I also saw a truck load of camaros with one different looking car. It looks as though it is a Calloway Corvette?, I would rather have a normal ZO6.

I also saw a customized Camaro for the Air Force (probably a promosional car) but it wasnt worth taking a picture.

LAX meet died out, no one goes to it anymore.

second saturday is 12.12.2009... i will make an effort to get my butt out there if everyone shows up. haven't seen you guys forever- well, mostly my own fault for missing ss12.

 

i need oil changes in both cars, i also need to have both cars washed.
8 has that stupid engine light again, which i completely ignore.
theres a stupid rule in place here, no car washing.
so now i have to cough up cash for a hand car wash.
did i mention my dsl is up and running again.

filled jedi.. the droid is a crazy phone, and i wish i had some
of the dare features on it.. early morning rants before work...

I'm having the car towed to Casey's house either tonight or tomorrow night. Not sure yet. Would like to start working on it in the morning. Maybe 10ish?

Also, looking for an extra pair of hands that want to help and has done this before but he's never on the thread unless we're talking about the Patriots so I'll probably call him and ask.

 

I think he's in hiding after the ***-whoopin' his team took on Monday.

@Michael - Pretty sure anything you could do on the Dare can be done on the Droid. It's running an actually operating system. It's not just a dummy phone. You just need the right program to do what you want.


@Jedi - If you're dad is really considering upgrading his phone on Verizon, and he is actually going to benefit from a Smartphone (and pay for internet service), then tell him to hold off a couple weeks.
HTC Dragon is coming to Verizon. It will be called the HTC Passion and it runs Android.
It blows away every device available right now on Verizon/Sprint/ATT.
The only exception is T-Mobile with the HD2 which is the Windows Mobile version of the HTC Passion.

 

Is the Dragon actually coming out soon? That's the phone I've been keeping my eye on, I'm dying to upgrade from my current HTC.

4G would be cool.
If they make a 4G iPhone next year, I guess you'll be switching to Verizon.
The only way Apple will make a 4G version is if they can sell it.
No one on ATT would buy a iPhone 4G next year because ATT won't start to roll out 4G until 2011.
Sprint has it in a ton of areas now and Verizon says they're rolling it out early 2010.
Lots of rumors about iPhone going to Verizon. An iPhone 4G sure helps that rumor even more.

If there is a new iPhone 4G version on ATT, I guess we'll see a new version of this too.

 

I love those new Verizon ads. What I think is funny (and rather sad) is how quick AT&T was to run to court and sue Verizon for the ads and tried to get a C&D order.

I hate verizon as a company (b/c they nickle & dime their customers and have ridiculous Terms and Conditions) but I see nothing wrong with their ads; it is a true Apples to Apples comparison. Their 3G vs At&Ts 3G. Does AT&T have an enormous EDGE / 2G network that covers all those blank areas of the map; yes, but that's not what Verizon is comparing.

The new ads that AT&T are running are a dismal attempt at retaliation.

 

Cesar: speaking of phones...what's your next one going to be?

 

HTC Dragon or HTC Passion or whatever they decide to call it when it gets to Sprint.
