what i did on my car to get the sun damage cloudy stuff off of my car was some 2000 grit sand paper. just be sure to apply some water to both the head light and the area of the sand paper you'll be using. then, you'll want to use a rag to clean up the residue. after doing so, you'll want to use another rag and apply that wax that was given earlier to the headlight. remove the wax with a clean rag. and repeat the process over again until satisfied.
