I'd love to go skydiving. My fat butt has to lose some weight first, and get some more strength back in my knee.
I want to do the "Ultimate 1st Jump" at Perris. $390 and you get 2 tunnel jumps first then an accelerated free fall jump.
I figure if I jump, I'll probably only do it once. I don't want to make my 1 jump a tandem.
Accelerated free fall is were they have 2 instructors jump w/ you, and they hold onto you until you open your chute.
Basically, they are there to make sure that you don't go into a crazy spin since it's the first time you're jumping.

The guy I work w/ jumped last year for his birthday.
He said when you leave the plane, you don't feel like you're falling because you can't really notice how fast you're moving towards the ground.
Just feels like a lot of wind hitting you. Once the chute was open, he said he'd feel the sudden drops occasionally.
If I win some money in Vegas next month, I'm considering spending it on this jump.

Jedi, yeah, Forza has REALLY slowed down. For the week I had Shazbot's profile to get him his million online points achievement, I had a hard time just finding enough people to fill a room and race against. And then, I would beat them so badly they wouldn't stick around.....so I often will choose my slower cars to race now....still fun, and keeps the people in the rooms.

 

...as for Forza 3....who knows. I remember Forza 2 was to be released with the release of the xbox 360, but it was slow delayed and the release date kept getting moved back....so I won't be holding my breathe....

 

in other words, you guys will get Forza 3 when we get the full version Grand Turismo.
(I'm sure Cesar will come in here with some wise crack about how GT5 is never coming out)

 

yeah, GT5 coming out is less likely than me getting another red ring of death.

I get plenty of hardware failures on the Xbox, but at least I have games to play :P ..and the marketing genous that is microsoft, just encouraged our home to have 2 xbox360s, just so we have one while the other is being sent out for repair. Maybe these xbox consoles are being made by FORD (fix or repair daily).

 

^^^as long as we are talking about the genious of Microsoft lets be thorough......

3 hard drives (1 extra for backup)
2 memory sticks (for portable profiles)
4 controllers (2 back up because the d-pad has a tendency to 'stick')


All of that for two grown adults who have better things to do than play video games!
