BTW - Keith, I tried the "Mile High Club" level on Veteran yesterday. Finished twice in 10mins.
I can guarantee you there is money to be made on that.....just look at how many sales the guy has who is selling the avatar achievement.....that mile high club is one of the hardest achievements in the game.....

The E version is horribly high....looks like a girl pulling up her skirt as to not get it wet when walking through a puddle.....just ugly.

yah. very high bumper. but, the front bumper side vents flare outward- kinda like the tsunami kit. i think these new renditions of the 8 look funky to us cuz we're all just so used to seeing the car a certain way or with kits we're all familiar with.

i think what they should've done is make a single exhaust the rear rotary accent- ie like the furai.

i hate to say it, but, the changes have slowly grown on me. the more i look at the RS model the less weird it feels. i still don't like the interior changes- except for the beautiful red seats of course. but, then again, i'm not sure the RS model is going to be available in the u.s. i guess we'll have to wait til june/ july to see what they unveil.

i think what we'd really like to see is a 2009 side-by-side and in person with one of ours to compare. hopefully we will survive til then and maybe even get new members who will own the 2009.

Only a spoiler on the Type RS. Maybe it will be an option on the others.

RX Z88M update.....I'm not getting my hopes up, but there is definately something going on. I recently changed (lowered) my asking price for the car in autotrader. That magazine just hit the shelfs Monday. I got three calls on the car yesterday afternoon, and two emails. 5 interested parties at once....I think I may have found a price more people are interested at.

So in another month, I may list my car for sale.

By then I will owe well under $20k,(effin negative equity transfer from the last car) and that would make it the cheapest 06 on autotrader within 100 miles. Now . . it is a sport edition, with no leather, but I figure I will just leave it listed and every month I will drop my price to what I owe after that payment.

Then it will be time for my Miata project along with a leased BMW.
What do ya think

I love my car.

But from day 1 this car was part of a 'financial possibility'
It was possible for me to have an 8, so I bought one.
Now it is possible for me to get out of the 8 and get a BMW. . . . . Yuppie in training

OK - I'll throw this out there because I'm always reading up on tech stuff, and I'm about to purchase a laptop.
If anyone knows of a better deal than this, please let me know.

What I'm looking for is;
Under $900
17" Display
Dual-Core Processor (Intel or AMD)
Dedicated Video card (prefer Nvidia)
Windows Vista or XP (just put this here for Detrich although the 1st requirement eliminated anything Steve Jobs would sell)
The best deal I found so far, after weeks of searching, is this one.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16834280007
Everex is a well known brand among pc/laptop modders because they are easy to upgrade. This one even has an extra bay for another hard drive, which I'll probably use for a built-in backup drive in the future.
I plan to buy this and swap the memory for 4gb of Kingston because the ram that comes w/ it is only 1gb and a no-name brand.

I need to make the purchase today or tomorrow. If anyone has any input, let me know.

if u're going to get a bmw jake- look into the 335i. and, if u can afford it, throw in the sport package and u'll be set. the lease offers on those cars is very much in reach nowadays. the only reason i haven't upgraded yet is cuz 10 years later i'm still very much in love w/ my 323i. and, i love living debt-free. well, except for my freaking mortgage- which i would pay that off too if i had the $...

if u take good care of the beamer, it will last just as long as the japanese cars.
