Ya, the autoshow will be fun.

I am still trying to pitch them on having a judged car show and an auto-x outside in the parking lot.
We are supposed to have a ride and drive with a Mazda dealer. But it would be a Miata that people get to abuse. And that is still up in the air.



If YOU were to put together a car show . . . .. what would you want there?

 

you'd probably get a good turn out if you made it an oldies car show....that group tends to like autoshows as well so it would make sense. That whole Hot Import Nights type scene is overdone and too frequently seen everywhere.

 

I agree keith. I tried to tell them to do a car show with actual prizes. We are paying TONS of money for the show, we may as well put out a few cash prizes to bring in some sweet rides. . . right.

We do have a collector letting us borrow about $3,000,000 worth of his collection.

yup, old school and hotrods would draw a good crowd. PLUS, don't see too many of those shows these days.

 

Tons of classics, Bugatti Ferrari and Lambo's.

Plus he got his hands on a veyron, an enzo, and rumor has it that he is trying to get that Lambo renton . . venton . .. carbon fiber whatever you call it.


But we could only get $2,000,000 worth of insurance for him, so he is bringing a million dollar car, and a few others.

i got to work a bit late this am, and as i rushed to get into the elevator in the lobby, a very beautiful, statuesque blonde politely asked which floor i was going to and pressed the button for me. then, a light bulb went on over my head inside- wow that's xxxxx! no way! she was dressed very ordinarily- just jeans and a jacket, but still smokin' hot. and, she kept smiling at me- which made me very self-conscious. (maybe i forgot to brush my hair this am? what the heck...) but, anyways.

ok, guess who i got to ride in the elevator with today?
