JUBUS keith... when they said broken visor they were seriouse.

when mine broke, all that happened was that in the up position, it still hung about an inch down. same thing happened to my mazda 6. i didnt think yours ... well... exploded... im glad your getting it fixed for free though.

by the way, thanks for the pics and avtar ideas. ive been meaning to update my avtar but im leaning towards doing one with my exhaust in it. one of these days... i will wash may car... and have batteries for my camera... and still have enough time and energy to convert the pics to avtar size. .... one of these days...

thanks man.. its really dirty and beatup cause ive been flying over speedbumps lately. working 7 days a week is making me care less and less about everything. ill go to the next meet which is this sat right?

also, once i get the rear shocks turned up, ill go to the next practice day as well. after that, im going to send out my front right shock back to koni. to have tem take a look at it. there has been a good bit of fluid that came out of the piston and when i go over bumps, it squeeks and makes that old shock noise.

send it to me and I can resize it for you....or post it as a normal pciture and I can walk you though making it an avatar...really easy...even Zootender was able to do it (figure I could put a stab in there since she often doesn't want to read through the 20 pages of text we create in between times she logs on).

Casey, do we have a Once a Month meeting near San Bernardino this Saturday?

Like keith said, post it, and right-click on the thumbnail size, and select "Save picture as".

Unbolt the swaybar endlink from the swaybar side so you can rotate the bar out of the way. Unbolt all the shock bolts that hold the assemble to the body and spindle so you can drop the entire shock spring down about 3". Unbolt the top shock bolt, this will release the spring but the rears are so soft you don't need a spring compressor on them. Once the top bolt is off you should be able to drop the shock strait out the bottom leaving the spring and perch in place. No need to remove any control arms and screw up you alignment. To install just push the shock up and use a jack under it to compress the spring just enough to tighten the top bolt that holds the shock/spring together.

I'm almost positive I would kill someone if they did this to my Lotus.

So who's all coming to the meet on sat? I'll be coming, and I'm pretty sure RoMeo will be coming also. Got my new tires on so I'll be able to push my car hard again.
