Keith, the 3rd "bad thing" to happen to you was breaking that bolt last night. Yeah, that's it!! So you don't have to worry about Saturday anymore!

Cesar: Stupid question alert.....

I'm shopping for that Yellow Top still but I don't see anywhere where it says "R" under the 35 batteries...

15 freeway closure is scheduled for this weekend right?
That leaves hwy 138 out.
I kind of liked the Idyllwild run, but it's a long drive getting there.
It'd be good for me, cause I can hit the casino afterwards.

How about we get some input on the run location.

My choices
Idyllwild - Followed by lunch somewhere out there.
Big Bear - Followed by lunch at the burger place we always go to.

If I told you to look for 35R, I made a mistake.
Group 35 batteries are what we have in the car. The posts are automatically in the correct position. The opposite would be a Group D75/25
So, you need a D35 battery.

138 wouldn't be bad as long as we start from the gas station side and go east...instead of ending at the 15 and being stuck on our way south back home.

I agree with Idylwild or Big Bear. If we choose Idylwild..maybe we could do a longer run their instead of turning around after that first stop we made last time.

Big Bear loop is always fun Maybe we could stop off at the lake and get some group shots?

We definately need to get some pics of Zoo and Sopheak.

Random question: Anyone seen or heard from Spiceboy lately? He's been completely MIA lately.

Idyllwild is the cop and CHP run. (Hemet ricers have caused a huge crack down by the local cops.)Too much traffic too. I would vote for big bear or lake arrowhead.

Unfortunately Big Bear and Lake Arrowhead are huge headaches as far as traffic is concerned as well. I think it is just hit and miss anywhere you go. Anyone know if the closure in Big Bear is open?

duh!!

Maybe a lot of people will skip town and head out to Vegas friday night so the roads will empty. (I can always wish, can't I?)

how long of a drive are you all willing to take? I can find us some roads with little or no traffic. But it would be a huge circle route.

It's like pulling teeth to get people to go from Pirate City tattoo to Idyllwild, which I don't think is that far.
I'm sure there's a lot of great roads by Temecula/Murrieta area, but if we can't be on the "Drive" within 20-30mins, we'll lose a lot of interest.

I say go for a long drive that has less traffic then a short drive that's just going to frustrate everyone. (even if it takes 30 mins + to get to the "drive")
