No problem no need for an apology. If you would care to have the poll I would be happy to participate in it. If you have a week or so with nothing to do, look over the 600 + pages of this thread and you will see most things have been tried.

Over the years just about every day has been tried. We always got the best turnout on Friday evenings. If my memory serves me correctly weekend days have not been tried yet but someone else would have to handle that as they would not normally work for me.

Meets may just be a thing of the past and I may be having a hard time adjusting to the new feeling. Don't know if that is true but as long as one owner shows up at a meet with me, I will continue to press for them.

Sorry to hear that Chun does not care to participate any longer. I need all the friends that I have.

does anyone have a factory wheel and tire they can let me hold on to as a spare until i pick up a set of forgestars?

 

All I have is my factory spare......you know that little tire and rim in the trunk.

 

i just need a spare wheel to keep in the garage in case i ever drive to cali or something. its not really necessary for me to have a spare exactly but would be nice to have if i drive the rx8 out of town.

phil, would it be ok if i just asked to borrow your spare if i ever drive the rx8 out of town. i highly doubt i will but just in case.

 

Yea, let me know in advance of any trip. It is small enough to fit in the trunk and designed for emergency use.

anyone with a spare (preferably unmarried) cobb accessport laying around? I want to inspect it and maybe do a dump of the software its running.

 

Anyone know of a place to buy single used tools like sockets and wrenches? When I lived in Colorado pretty much every pawn shop had a loose tool bin where they put the tools that were not in sets that came out of tool boxes that had been pawned. I have called a ton of shops out here but none of them sell tools this way and would love to find a source of cheap used tools.

 

I am back from vacation and my father is out of the hospital so I am available for a wrench meet.

I didn't know your father was in the hospital, bu I'm glad he's out!

 

So am I. He has had a good long life and at 95 will continue for a while longer. He has never had a heart problem but developed a "sticky" valve. He is vital and lives by himself in his large home, has a "girl friend" and is still enjoying life but now realizes he is slowing down.

Please let me know by tomorrow noon if your interested in a wrench meet. If there are not comers I will do other things.

You know I am interested in a wrench meet, but I don't know if I will have the midpipe by Saturday or not. Ordered it on tuesday and was told 3 day shipping but have not received my tracking number yet.

 

i to will be working. im in need of a mt passenger side motor mount. any one have one laying around? haha.

 

Ok no chance I will be able to install it this weekend anyway, it wont be delivered until the 12th. So maybe next weekend if anyone else wants to install some stuff if I even still need to get it installed then.

 

 

Thats no problem for anyone, nobody wanted to I guess. I had originally asked him about a meet and then wished I had not when I learned of his situation before he got back from his vacation.

I've been ok'd to let people know his wife Nancy is and has been in the hospital atleast the last couple of days. I do not have details so I don't know extent of the severity. But for those that do perhaps now may be a good time for a small prayer for them

Normally I would schedule a meet for the third Friday of July. Due to family issues I will not be able to schedule or attend any meet on Friday. Sin City Rotary will have their usual meeting on Thu. July 14. For the location of that meet contact 13X or go to Sin City Rotary meet site.
