The coil will be easy - The compression test requires someone to crawl under the car and disable a sensor. If Easy is here he can show you how and where.

Sorry to hear about your leg. I hope it was not from over dueing it at last weeks mod meet. The fuel pump is easily fixed. Remember to get a new lid and gaskets for the new pump.

Erick is coming in to install the rest of the bling over the intake. He is also installing a new fuel pump. If anyone wants to stop by, your welcome. Erick should be here about 11am.

AJ, your welcome to the fuel pump. I talked to Erick and he is about a hour out - road construction is holding him up. I think he forgot he was supposed to install the new fuel pump. I have Jeff's tool and one I had made to copy it.

Chun never installed the one I gave him - we can do it today as it's easy.

AJ, I have that pedal ready to go if you want to change it out - but don't reinjure your leg in the process. Armin was thinking about coming back over today.

Thanks Phil, I ordered one but it wasn't the 09, I think I will return it and upgrade but I will need yours for the time being.

Let me see if I can get Armin...I don't know if I want to take my car over there and it stall somewhere in the middle.

EDIT: Has anyone seen my wheel lock from the last meet at Phils? I took it out and I think I accidently left it there! HELP!

Holy **** is that how fast my car is supposed to be??? For as long as I have owned her I don't think she has ever driven this well. I wasn't the original owner. I wonder how long my coil was bad.

I ended up defogging the airbox, cleaning the throttle body out a little, cleaned the air mass flow sensor, clean the airbox screens, changed the bad coil and ran a compression test. Kasumi was just the slightest bit below min spec. So a new engine will probably have to wait until she gets worse.

Thanks to Phil for the garage, tools and coil. Thanks to Eric, AJ and Ray from Sin City Rotary for the advice and instructions. I'm glad Ray got to meet a few of the fellas and got to see Phil's stealth bomber.

Phil, I found the vacuum hose the was loose, check engine light is gone

I gotta say Gil, it is pretty damn bad ***. I still gotta do the throttle body coolant bypass and the pressure blast the **** out of my engine bay. Still need to do the tranny fluid too and maybe remove the snorkel. Plan to do it myself with a little help from the guys.

Once she's kind of caught up then I'll start thinking a few mods again. Probably have to leave it at some new coils and an AP.

Yeah the plan for the bypass wasn't going to happen until this spring. Coils and AP would probably happen this summer.

Thumbs up

Thank you to Phil for the clutch pedal fuel pump and the tool to get it out! I will get my pump and clutch pedal back to you. I still haven't done the clutch, yet. Thank you Phil!

Thanks Eric for the advice and info on getting in removed and replaced. It was a bitch just like you said, I modded Phil's tool with duct tape after trying to chisel it out and it work like a dream.

Well I took a look at both filters and they were both pretty clean and actually Phil's had a little more debris than mine. I hope this fixes it.

Chun you can probably beat that FD now instead of just keeping up with it.

Gil it was never the throttle body bypass, it was the fuel pump...I hope. I'm beat and smell like fuel.

Phil my buddy has a hook up for the Tshirts just get me the design! Did I say thanks?
