This is gonzz.. I lived in Vegas for 9 years and moved to DFW 2 yrs ago. Some of you know me for my RHD 1st gen or the 20B FD. I just got a 04 RX-8 with a blown motor. Should I sell the entire car as is or part it out? It's blue with black cloth interior. The car is in great shape. What do you guys think?

OK, with the correction factor you are good. Those figures with the correction factor mean you have a good engine as far as compression goes. I guess I should have known that Easy would check the RPM.

I am planning on seafoaming my car soon, but I cannot do it at home because of bitchy neighbors and a HOA, does anyone know of a good possibly abandoned parking lot around? I cant think of anywhere with a closed down store in a decent area, thats where I would normally seafoam my last car but that was in colorado.

I live in summerlin but would be fine driving pretty much anywhere relatively close thats not a bad area. I know its hard to find a good spot to seafoam away from home but there has to be a decent spot somewhere. I had the perfect spot in colorado at a Target that had been closed down forever, but I just cant think of anywhere like that around here.

I know its kind of a strange question to ask. I just live around a lot of older/retired people that just look for anything to complain about and really don't need a warning or fine from my HOA.

just do it behind a store like smiths, kmart, walmart, target, michaels, ***** shop, toysrus, tatoo parlor, hospital, school parking lot, police yard, in side a ice skating ring, on a coloring book, in a video game, etc....

as long as there is no one around and or the businesses are closed no one will care.

Yea I know I could find a place thats closed for the day I was just hoping to be able to do it when it was still light outside. Was just hoping someone had some info on a good spot but I will just find one somewhere eventually.

You guys probably have more understanding neighbors than me if you can do it at your house.

About 30k now. On my other cars I like to seafoam every 20k or so, I figure spending $8 and the time to do it is not much of a hassle and if it even cleans out a little bit of carbon that is stuck in there it was worth it. I bought the car with 18k miles on it. The compression isn't bad by any means but it isn't like new either, so if the previous owner didn't care for it properly I would like to at least try seafoam to see if it helps anything.

Let me know when your ready. Can't remember cost of a case but would be willing to share in the costs. I keep a case normally so if your ever out we can work some thing out. If you come to the meet next Friday we can work out the particulars and if your out I can bring a couple of bottles with me.

dangit phil. I always work weekends. LOL

but yeah, sounds good. I probably won't need to purchase any for a month (two quarts lasts me about a month, and i just got mine), but if some other people want to go in on it before that, i'm game.

I take it you work at a Hotel or drive a limo. Too bad that you will not make a meet. If you are ever in need call me, I normally am home by 4pm and don't work the weekends......

I dispatch limos, actually.

I'm going to work on getting the weekends off, but we'll see.
