they said that the have too many mods
the told that have some mod in the computer and oders mods
i will get the car latter, and i asked him to write down in a paper all the mods
and mazda custumers number

 

All you have on your car is an intake and exhaust.... WHAT MODS?!?

 

What f%^*#@$ mods do you have beside exhaust? Here we go again......You have people looking at it that don't know what even they are looking at. Stop by the house on Saturday with the list - this I gotta see. I am reacting before seeing the list but I have seen this car, it's close to stock. If they did not mark your Vin number in the computer we can fix the "mods" and take it to the other dealer lot.

 

He has a short ram intake too. He can borrow my air box and we have a bunch of stock exhausts lying around. I still have mine but I know you have one too Phil. Courtesy is doing it again!

 

Should we be talking about this in open forum? I'd hate for Courtesy to see this then VIN lock him.

Dealerships don't have the right to negate a warranty since they didn't right it. Also calling Mazda might help.

That is BS, if you want to put your stock catback back on bring it here. It'll take an hour or so to change it out.

Bored, and I went to Las Vegas once when I was in grade 3. I remember hot women and warm wind, and a god damn pretzel that was too salty at the Mirage.

 

And I see your lost again If we lived in BC we would really know what cold weather is - up to your *** in snow too I bet (or soon will be).

 

They pay no attention to this forum at Courtesy (Mazda HQ does).The only person at Courtesy that can even use a computer is Mike's friend and I doubt he would do anything. Invite us to have our meets there offer discounts on service and deny any warranty. And to think I was beginning to warm a little toward them. They VIN locked me before I pulled out of the service department but Mazda removed that nationally a week later.

This may come to a trip else where - if it does let me make a couple of calls and see where...............................

 

About 5CM of snow all year actually.

Felipe- It was probably your rims that voided your warranty! Damn Courtesy Mazda, they are a bunch of scam artists.

 

The rims and the tires are not stock so it F#%* up the engine

cold I intake
vent on intake bypassed
has a chip in PCM
aftermarket exhaust

Cold air intake and exhaust shouldn't avoid warranty
I don't know about the chip

 

The chip would be the big thing........where in hell did that come from???? I thought everyone knew they are a waste of money. The second thing would be the bypass. I would like to see this chip.......would like to see if it is actually there......Unfortunally that little item may be cause for waranty denial. Now the big thing is did they put that in the computer???? Mazda will forgive most "bolt on" items if you will switch them back but screwing with the computer is not one of them. That is why the AP is so good - it leaves no trail. If the chip thing is in the computer we may be screwed........

Now we need to know if Felipe added the chip him self and if not where and when Phil purchased his 8. If he purchase it at a dealer then the dealer is supposed to have run the 8 before selling it and the chip should have showed up then. The other stuff can be proved not to hurt the engine.

Felipe that sucks *** but if someone did something to the ecu then yeah your screwed. As for "a list of mods that will void your warrenty" thats a load of b.s.
Look at all the mods I have done to my car and the last time I took my car to the dealership for a wheel alinement they did not mention anything to me about voiding my warrenty, hell the service manager walked into the lobby to tell me they are even going to flash my 8 for free!

I didn't know you had a CPU mod. If it's piggyback take that **** off. If you remapped the internal chip then I don't know what you can do.

we can check that saturday..

if there is no way to get the warranty
i will have to save some money and think about get another renesis maybe new one or a used one
or maybe go to 3 rotor.. don't know yet let's what gonna happen first
