Las Vegas Lounge
Thank you all for your birthday greetings - I appreciate it.
I contacted Jason (MX193) and he told me he already sold most of it. Only had the exhaust left and a couple of other items.
We had a fair turn out at the meet. I would like to have a dinner meet in December and am not sure where to hold it. So far here are the two places suggested:
Crazy Buffet (Asian food and sushi)
Texas de Brazil (steaks)(new guy Phil works there)

Courtesy gave me a shitty clutch, we installed a new one. I got one pretty cheap and we MIGHT be able to return the one I got from Courtesy as defective so I MIGHT get that cash back.
I am writing a letter to Mazda corporate today complaining about them and that there is no where in NV that I can take my car that I can trust.
At least my car is back though right?

Thank you - see your PMs.
I am just complaining to Mazda because I can. I will probably be 86'd but St George is only a little more than an hour away
I was truly never going back to them ever anyways.

The st. george guy is fair to good but you have to call ahead to make sure he is working. At least he will not lie to you and just stick on parts.
From here on in I am hoping to do local out of dealerships diagnosis and work. I'll go to St George for the official compression test. When do the warranties on an 04 run out?

So I wrote Mazda and they wrote back.
"Thanks for contacting Mazda.
I'm sorry to read that the actions of the dealership did not live up to your expectations. Please understand all authorized Mazda dealerships are independently owned and operated businesses. As such, they are solely responsible for the business transactions they make, including repairs and services they perform on vehicles.
Your feedback regarding your experience is important and is valued. Rest assured I have documented your comments regarding Courtesy Mazda for our corporate record. We continuously evaluate these records as part of our ongoing commitment to provide only the highest quality products and services.
Again, thank you for contacting Mazda."
I didn't think they would do anything but this sounds pretty ******* indifferent. I love my car but getting fucked over by NV dealerships makes me not want to buy a Mazda ever again.

AJ, your going back to work? hows that leg?
Already started but just temp work.
I believe you can get one at Checkers or Autozone, PM Noguni I think he has a extra starter. Let me see...
On the engine isn't it 100,000 miles? You can just do a compression check at the Godfather's house he's got a tester. Phil does all his own work eff the dealerships.

It's all Jedi's fault - he causes everything on the forum.
