AJ, if I have a pedal for an emergency and you can make it next week, let's plan on doing the compression check(s) then if you don't mind. Let me know so that I can let Chun and a couple of others know.

It looks like I should have that spare pedal done by Saturday. This one takes longer because we only have a good blank and had to dig thru the broken ones to come up with the parts to add to it. With the addition of the broken pedal from last week we found that we had enough stuff to do a complete pedal.

 

This Sat is no good for me anyways, silly me was reminded by my wife that we are driving to San Diego for a family weekend. I need to pay more attention at the dinner table.

 

I know what you mean, I never hear Nancy ether. For 35 years I have been saying "Yes Dear" and never really know what I just agreed to.

Just found out that the pedal will be ready so if someone wants to change it out on this weekend then I can have the trade in beefed up and be ready for the following weekend.

Installed my TurboXS exhaust today with Armin's help since I am crippled, he practically did all of it. Thanks Armin! It is a very, very nice looking exhaust and is mean as hell spitting blue and white flames!.

 

What's wrong with a BHR kit?

Ok I don't care who gets the pedal, there is no cost to it just that you have to do your own removal and install and give me your unbroken used one in trade. Now if yours is broken then you will need to replace the spare one somehow (and quickly). Now if you want to have yours beefed up and can wait until Monday, I will have it beefed up but I'm sure that the exchange pedal will be the most popular.

On Saturday I am available from 8AM until 2PM. My tools are old but in good shape and I have just about everything you could wish for.

So far only fmmieres (Phil) and I are for the December meet to be a dinner. I will make the arrangments if anyone is interested. The only vote I have so far is for Texas de Brazil.

As far as my brother is concerned he only wants to party at night, which is why I changed my mind, but if you want to get together next Saturday instead of this Saturday when Chunbelievable gets back so that we can knock out his compression test that is fine too.

 

i just asked an we can get 50% off but we cant have more than 6 people in the table and can't be on friday,saturday and sunday that is what my roommate told me she is a server there

i can ask the general manager if we can go there friday but would have to be probably around 5:30 or 9

Phil, see what the manager can do for a Friday evening (December 18th) since that is our normal meet day. I sounds like there will be at least 6 peeps there. Maybe he has a back room for us about 7:30. I know that AJ does not get home until after 6 on friday. I am not sure about everyone else but if we set the time and the day then others may come. As soon as we have it set I will PM or email every one to get a commitment. 6 peeps are about what usually show to a meet so that will work out.

I've had many new members send me private messages recently, asking to be added to our local group member list. But, as they might have noticed I haven't added them to the list, just yet. Not to be afraid though, everyone will be added on the list starting January 1st, 2010.

I will be updating the list and contacting members to make sure they want to be added or taken of the list. If I don't receive any replys from a member within 1-2 weeks, I'll take that as you not being an active member anymore or you just don't want to be part of the 2010 local group member list.
