More RX Support
I'm thinking about buying an RX8. Is there an RX8 specific group in Las Vegas yet? Or are there not enough RX8 owners to bother with meets/etc?
I've had several miata's. I know they have a miata flyer you can put on cars encouraging folks to join miata.net. Maybe something similar for the RX8 would get more owners involved. Just put one on their windshields.
Any suggestions on which mazda dealer to buy from? Peoples is closest to me.
Regarding all the heat/flooding/etc problems, do any of them still exist on 2007 models?

Glad to see more people are getting interested in the RX8. I don't know if there is enough people to start RX8's meets only. We need to make a list of all the owners, so I can get a head-count of how many RX8's are in town. We also need to make a members list to receive emails about gatherings & drives, etc. It would also be great if you could include a phone number, which has proven to come in handy a number of times when plans change, someone gets separated from the group in a drive, etc. However, be advised the intention is to share this information with all other 2007 email distribution list participants. In that light, please do not send me any information you would not want shared with the entire group.

RX8 Testdrive
Went to Peoples today and drove the 6AT and 6MT RX8. I gotta say the AT was really impressive. It surprised me. But the MT is even better
That and the only 06's they had left were automatics, so that says something about which sells better.
Any AT RX8's here?

I'll try to be active but have yet to get an RX8. I did decide to buy one.
However, I wanted to get a Winning blue 2006 base with MT and nobody in las vegas has one left. Unfortunately they discontinued winning blue for 07. They do have that new dark blue (stormy blue?) but of course not in the base (sport now for 07 i guess) model with a MT. I'm only 5'10" but I'm taller than average in the hip-head proportion so I can drive an RX8 with monroof. I'd love to get a higher end model with leather, but they force the moonroof on you.
Stormy Blue with sand leather interior would be great. Oh well.
I might start looking at dealers in Phoenix or southern ca. I do have a trip to either dallas or houston coming up, might look there too.
I asked at Peoples and they own courtesy as well. But neither had much selection of the sport model with MT. (annoying that Peoples has the exact winning blue 06 I want but its an AT)
Has there ever been a survey done online as to what % of folks like which colors best? It would be interesting to see.
