I'm in telecommunications... work has been light as the summer months usually yield our busy times. All my other friends who are also in communications-- i.e. telephone, cable are also experiencing light/slow work. I was part of a layoff back in November '08 and have been trying to keep afloat since... and now currently doing piece work has been challenging as we've had to scrounge up work. I love my field of work... and I am thankful that I do have a job. I'm happy that you're thriving well with your business... But I'm sure I'm not the only one feeling how bad the economy is... Nevada's and the rest of the nation's unemployment numbers somewhat proves how our economy stands. I see them everyday as well, disconnecting service from customers/businesses for non-pay...

Naww am not tryin to put all that really in my car just like and intake exhust and something to save me some gas cuz filling up every three days is not buzz at all... but that man

 

yup, i know it, i am in the travel industry. they're slow because they're not getting ppl in at the rates they want to charge, only because they've had to lower their rates and offer 2 for 1 this that & the other w/free shows and what not...but they're busy because ppl are biting for those "specials"...everyone now wants something for nothing.

anyway, last night was a crappy night. we were at town square and got rear-ended by a cadillac suv as we were going over a speed bump. we were at a stop sign to make a right and when it was clear we made our right and the speed bump was right there so as we were going over it the suv just banged right into the back of us. the 8 is still driveable, thank God...that s lucky that i'm not still pregnant or that we didn't have the baby in the car either. That's 3 times now that someone in an SUV has done something to the 8.

 

Maybe it's because your 8 is slammed and they can't see you from up top of an SUV...or they are drunk or stoned out of their minds. Either way sorry to hear about the 8.

That's because Athena was born in April all cute babies are born in April. Hey English, how does the baby in my av look? Man that english girl from London was pretty cool even though it was more of a Bend it like Beckham english girl and I'm not talking about Keira Knightly...the other actress.

I won't be here for the meet this week, I will be in Arkansas on personal leave.

 

I feel that if we have a scheduled meeting time and day we could get a turn out. I considered twice per month with staggered days but felt that twice may put a crimp on some life styles. As of July 2009 we will have a (one) scheduled meeting on the third Friday of every month. The scheduled meeting will take place every month and will start out at the In & Out parking lot on West Sahara and will start at 7pm. Some months there will / may be trips to various locations or to get food.

I know that some of you work strange hours and accommodations to the side trips can be made for you.

 

Not again..........The 8 is repairable??? Dam at least you guys are OK.

Ha.......Leaving Las Vegas to go on a bender in Denver is kinda like going to Chuckie Cheese for Pizza. Now I do have to admit that I have not been in Denver in 20 years so things could have changed but I kinda doubt it.

Well my car officially blew the **** up. 10 ft our of my work parking lot I heard a loud thud come from my engine and Kasumi halted up a bit. After the thud there has been a consistent scary rattle coming from the engine. I was still able to put the car in gear and put her back in the parking lot but damn it sounds nasty!

She is being towed to guess who.... COURTESY! **** my life. I really wish I had somewhere else to take her but this really looks like it is the engine. If this ends up not being covered by Mazda I am scared to think what the cost of repair will be on this one.

Whaaaaaaaaaat!!! Sounds like you lost compression. Your car should be covered and if its not its about 4g's for a new engine. Did you ever use premix? i reading everyone is using that stuff to help lube the apex seals.
Wow what made you take it to courtesyfuck? that place is a rip off. Peoples on the north west side is the best. Clean and good people.

I really don't think it's the engine. The noise goes away when I put the clutch in and comes back when I take the clutch back out. I didn't know there was another dealership here in town. I only know of the two Courtesy's, north/west and south/east. I just spent my last tow from AAA too.

 

Clutch went out? when you find out let us know whats wrong. Good luck.
