You gonna put an adjustable volume control from inside? That would be cool so you could turn down the BASS when u pull up in drive-thru's and such...

I wanna get one of them 4080 boxes sometime though... get some oomph on the lows... hehehe

I wonder if any of you were following the same thread about a guy in Indy that was converting his radio to a satellite unit and a ipod player. I have been searching for two hours and can't find the thread. Some one know were to find it?? The one I keep running into is where they are buying some kit.

I found a place to install my remote start - it will be done next Friday.

Somewhere within my pile of toys, I have a party boat (26'+), an 19' jet boat for water skiing (actually I have two of these but one is not usable by the untrained), and two jet skis. Just wondering if everyone would like to set up summer play day? I know I'm starting early but I will need time to make sure everything is operational. I know of a relatively unused area of the river near Lake Mohave. I would need help getting all the toys to the site. I will pick up all fuel costs for the toys and toy transportation but food and drinks would be on you. I would like to keep this among the local 8s just to keep control over the boats.

A Drive To Boulder Dam & Lunch
A meet that will start at In & Out on West Sahara and travel to Boulder Dam for a visit and photo opp. After completion of the visit we will have lunch at the Hacienda Casino. Continuation after lunch will be up to individual members as nothing will be planned.

THE FOLLOWING SCHEDULE IS NOW SET IN STONE
Date of Meet: January 27, 2008
Time of Meet: 8am until 2pm?
Starting Location: In & Out Burger - West Sahara Location
Destination: Boulder Dam & Lunch
[We may have some 7s show as this notice was posted in the local 7 club forums. All Mazdas are welcome
There are so many new people in the valley that have never seen the Dam. It's huge and a real photo opportunity. We will drive across the dam to the Arizona side and do a little sight seeing and picture taking. This dam is famous world over.
Gilbert (Dominion) will lead the prosession to the dam in his new 8 and I will bring up the rear in Nancy's Jeep as my 8 is down for lack of an aftercooler.

Great news, can't wait to hear it start up on it's own! Also, I've only once jet skied before, when I was in Laughlin, NV. It was like $60 an hour, plus a $300-500 down payment incase you break it. But, once I started riding down on the Colorado River, I saw a sign that said Rent Jet Ski for $25 or $35 an hour.. (I forgot which) I'd love to ride again, it was tons of fun!

I forgot to mention, I will be removing my Veilside body kit in a few days, and going back to OEM for now. Hopefully all goes smooth, I've never removed my bumpers on my own, but it should be fun! If anyone feels like joining me and maybe help me out for an hour or so, let me know.. I'd appreciate all the help I could get.

Good, I'll give you a call and we'll take a ride and I'll show you where I'm thinking of going. We'll check and see if they have boat storage on site and then we can get every thing to the site and store it there until the meet. I have all this stuff and hardly ever use it anymore.

I thought you were going to Cali today for the run?

I'm not much help, don't move like I used to. You need someone younger - I make a good pointer, just not much help. If you need tools and moral support bring it over here.

Let me know when you do it. I can maybe stop by and help. I'm an aircraft mechanic, so I think I am mechanically inclined. I hope!

LOL any weight is bad. I was 15lbs heavier than a couple other rx8 at nationals.

I don't hit cones on purpose it just happens sometimes.

This is why but it is an old video from when I drove the wrx.
