Red Rock Canyon is synonymously a popular spot for cars and motorcycles alike... been there plenty of times w/ the motorcycle. There are some technical turns so if you've never been through, you should take it easy. (After all, the posted speed limit there is 35)... the really big thing to watch out for is the Park Rangers. <--oh and tourists/visitors

Park Rangers=Federal Land (Red Rock, Lake Mead, VOF)+ticket=$$$

A friend of mine got nailed ripping through Lake Mead and the ticket was over $2 grand! <-- that's well enough to get something nice for your 8

But all in all, Red Rock is nice. Plus the Overlook makes a great meet up spot and take pics.

BTW: Is there a meetup time/place for Monday? Who's going? A good spot is the Chevron right across from Red Rock Station... or Starbucks by Charleston/Town Center... just my $ .02

First, let me say Happy Birthday Anthony! May all your wishes come true, and best of luck in life! Any case, just saw the pictures, and I gotta say it's not as bad as I thought it was going to be.. Still sucks that it got damaged, especially those wonderful rims! Also, I don't think I will be at the meet on the 27th or at Starbucks. Anthony, was my ride for the meet but it doesn't look like he'll be showing up either! Besides that, Anthony if you have room for one more in the Lotus, I'll roll with you if it's cool with you unless Kristal is going with you.

So last night was the first time i've ever gotten behind the wheel of a m/t. Getting out of 1st is really hard...damn it i can't wait to get it right already! We only practiced for an hour cuz i kept stalling and it was pissing me off so i called it quits. I did get it quite a few times, made it around and around the parking lot..but, i need so much more practice.
Any advice???
