if my springs are fucked from the crash i think im going to go for coilovers. The tein basics.
im having problems with the insurance at the moment with my wheels, the body shop wants me to have 3 new wheels because they are all bent and really messed up. But the stupid adjustor is saying that he wants them to get repaired. Tony the guy at the body shop isaying hes never heard of wheels this dent and bent getting fixed in all his experience and he doesnt want it to happen. I contacted the guy who i got them off and this is what he said about them getting repaired

These wheels can ABOSULTELY NOT BE REPAIRED.

#1. The finish of the wheel can only be replicated in Japan.

#2. Forged barrel if repaired will have stress issues inside. Not safe and i doubt the insurance company will want to take the liability if you die. lolz....

I'm being really blunt because you should get 3 new wheels and they should pay for it. No mickey mouse. The SBC finish can't be replicated state side anyway.

I'll tell you this much, the cost of REPAIR will FAR EXCEED Cost of Replacement.

so now im really annoyed i really thought it was going to be straight forward

Wheels can be fixed.. I'm gonna get mine fixed, I might buy a new one though. I use to think semi damaged wheels can't be fixed, but apparently everything can be fixed now days. I came across this site that gave me confidence about getting my wheels fixed. They can even fix split wheels, which I didn't think it was possible.. http://www.alloywheelrepairs.net/Whe...Car-Wheel.html

yeah, that sucks dude.

gil and annette watch out for lojack, i heard that if you exceed a certain mph lojack will call in the cops because they assume its stolen or something. i may be wrong but thats just what i heard.

about the meet. I am very skeptical to whether i will make it, i will try but because of recent situations...my parents most likely won't want me driving down there. and if i do go, a parent will be with me...and if a parent is with me i will have to go 100% the speed limit. i dono guys, ill see whats up but everything is a maybe

Well, I didn't specifically mean you rims, I was talking about mine Anthony.. LOL J/K But, it would probably be better if you just buy new rims, that way you'll know what you're getting.. Unlike, the shops that fix rims, you won't know how good they would turn out if they were able to fix them. You might not be satisfied with the finish look, but any case you should just buy new ones for safety procussion's.

there should be nothing wrong with your springs. and the wheels can be repaired and look brand new!!! i know a guy in town that would fix your rims, and the you dont have top take it to japan to get the same finish.

Mike, who do you know that can fix the wheels? I will most likely need to get 2-3 wheels fixed. I was thinking on taking them to Hubcap Annie's, but it all depends..

yeah i definitely agree. Missy K's back side is just the sexiest thing ive ever seen lol. but just the back end alone would cost over 2 grand....OUCH 1300 for exhaust

around 950(shipping included) for back bumper then another 500 or so for perfect paint job. OUCH

now that will burn a hole in your wallet.

At Mazdaparts.com the rear bumper is $792.00, I might consider getting the rear since I thought about replacing it in the first place.

Why Gil? LOL There is nothing wrong with it.. I don't know why so many people dislike it, it looks very aggressive. Sometimes, pictures doesn't do it justice but everyone that has seen it in person likes the kit very much. What kit would you think I should replace it with, other than the Burn-Out kit? HEHEH

armin ill be honest, i think there are kits out there that are nicer.....
i used to like that autobahn one, but it was too angled for me. I think you should stick with what you have and save for the r magic kit, that is real nice. that or the vertex lang, i love that kit, minus the rear

You have a link to the "burnout kit"? I'd like to see it. I'm not into the KS one cuz it looks like they left something out or something is missing.
