BAD NEWS guys, today after school i was in the parking lot at school and a kid i know was being retarded and all the excitement of seeing me in my car he basically leaped onto my hood and his hip creased/dented the triangle in the middle of the hood twice. So far the father of said kid doesn't act like he is going to pay. i got 3 quotes today and told him the price and he about flipped out on my mom. i filed an incident report with the school just for documentation. any advice? i was told by the auto shops that it would be best to just get a new hood because if they buddy over the dents (or use paintless dent removal) that any sudden vibration or warping of the hood (IE opening and closing the hood) may chip/pop off the puddy and paint. any suggestions??

the dents aren't terrible but they definitely are not something you want to forgive an acquaintance for and be like, oh don't worry about it. It bothers me because i can see the dents from the drivers seat!

 

That sucks man. Same thing happened to a friend of mine in england. The guy was good enough to face that he was acting a dick and pay for it. I'd make the kid pay why should your parents have to pay

Welcome to the forum Mario, glad to see another local with a RX-8! We are a tight community here, not just the locals but everyone on this site. Our local family is growing bigger and bigger than ever before. Just a few years ago, there was only about 2-3 locals RX-8's on here. Anett is doing that - From what I unerstand there should be no probem as during the week most of their businees is take out. I'm sure Anett will post soon and if she does not then I will stop by on the way home from work Monday. My son tells me that the food is good there.
