Its coming. We are working on a time with 2 of my other customers. One has a newish RS4 with a PES Supercharger kit and the other is a SL55 with about 15k done in motor work.
I would say that Team tries to explain stuff, in a rub-your-face-in-your-own-feces sort of way .... however, he, too, sometimes is wrong ... in those cases he just comes off as a plain dick
So yeah ... Team, you are always misunderstood,

It runs well, but I need a new set of plugs. The ones in currently are fouled, but boosting is the ****!!!! We are running 7 psi until I get my dyno time arranged with a few of my customers.

There is a small hickup when the second valves open at 6-7k, but if I ease the throttle it gets by without an issue. This will also be getting fixed.
Elliot, I thought that this ECU resets the cel?? I have one on, but no way to check it since I no longer have my Cobb.

Sounds like the car needs more fuel with the aux ports open( this is normal).
boost leak wha?
A platform that my local tuner and I can use on our own to make adjustments -- basically ease of tuning is the biggest for me... but there are others, notably cutting over to stand alone wideband monitoring, i.e. bypassing the gimpy OEM O2 sensor.
And I'm not giving up the Cobb completely -- just the fuel and ignition tables (mostly). I will still rely on my AP for CEL suppression and inhibiting the speed limiter.
What do you hope to gain from doing this versus running the Cobb?

what update are you looking for? This is the most active thread now ... after Team shut me down
Shell, if you have a boost leak, the adaptronic will still control the car fine
if you use Cobb, you will run super rich (best case)
or blow up (worst case)

I have yet to see one Cobb car make any decent amount of power besides Jamaal's( which also took about 10-12 hours of dyno tuning to achieve). In my experience, and this forum's most Cobb tuned car's power falls off seriously past the 6000rpm range regardless of turbo size, boost pressure, or tuner. I have a hunch( and it appears others are coming to this too) that something the cobb can't control is pulling ignition timing up top. What I have seen is when the torque cruve drops the entire turbo system is flowing cherry red,or its misfiring so bad that its choking on itself( large flame coming out the open dump too).

I was asking for people's impression of this product in the appropriate section of the forum instead of in a vendor classified. your other thread came up in a search and seemed like the right thread to ask.
