you'll clear fine. you should also clear with +35, I would advice you to roll your fenders anyways.

I'm running 18x9.5 w/ 35mm offset in the rear. I have 275/30's on the rear. I don't normally rub, but with any extra weight I do. I already have my fenders rolled. Should dropping to a 265 help? Any other suggestions?

reroll the fenders, get some - camber. But yeah, going to a smaller tire size will help.

I guess it's better that people repeat questions here rather than posting a whole new thread about it.

Camber is my least desired approach for the wheels not fitting, but I'll try the tires first.

No it will not fit, the RX8 can not fit anything under 8" wide

But really, Yes it will fit, but No you should not get it. Reasons being...

1. Wider usually means more grip. With the 8" wheel(Stock size) you can fit up to a 245mm tire. If you get a 9" Wheel, you can throw some 275's on there.

2. Wider also means it will look more aggressive.

3. Don't go less than 8". Period.

aw I really like the way the wheels look though. Does anyone have pics of an 8 with thinner wheels? I wanna see how it looks.

That's stupid. What ever wheel you are looking at, they most likely have a bigger size, just look.

it looks dumb - there i said it.....

seriously - go with a wider wheel - there's plenty of decent wheels out there with better sizes and legit prices...

for sakes purposes, at least aim for stock width (8" wide) at a more aggressive offset

^It's ok he has an Auto..so he obiviously doesn't care about the performance factor...

Sorry I had to

But really, don't go below 8" If you do, don't tell us about it, because we will hate you.

how does 48 mm offset look with our cars? pretty similar to stock? ehh those would be 18x8.5

would 18x9.5 fit ? im kinda doubting it. i dont wanna be staggered either.

^looks flat - depends on the width tho

edit: if you're looking to buy Pololo's rpf1's - they're gonna tuck similar to the AT's wheels.

im actually looking at some rota grids (the volk te37 replicas) they're 18x8.5 or 18x9.5 the offset on the 18x8.5's is 48mm

haha - nice edit

9.5's at +48 will be fine

try the rota grid's at 18x9.5 +35 - it'll look more like the te37's IMO - you might need a roll depending on the tire profile. Post pic's btw, i'd really like to see it.

so 18x9.5 should fit the front w/out rub, i was kind of hoping to avoid doing any rolling.

You can fit 18x9.5 +35 around on all corners and run up to 265 on all corners, with out rubbing.

Alright, so i'm going from car show to reading up mags. Its time for a change, So imput on these specs would be appreciated.

Been thinking about 18x9 +29 all around. Would I have problems in the front? How about 19x9?
With the offset calculator 18x9 +29 is equivalent to people running 9.8 +35 in depth inwards the fender,
so rear should be fine with a roll and camber work.
